Yeah you either have to flip it and install it upside down or install some slide rails, I had one of these tracseats and it was an absolute nightmare. I posted a few videos on it. I went back-and-forth with the tracseat company and actually sold it with my scag. I can't stand my scags, I had 4 of them and they all had problems. I just bought a hustler and I haven't looked back since. By the way the trac seat suspension that you see on eBay, Amazon etc are not the same suspension seats that come on Mowers nowadays with the orange turn handle. They look the same but the suspension travel, springs and the mechanics of it are completely different. Best of luck!

I made this video a couple of years ago for my old channel. So I have been using this suspension for a while, and it really does help. This is the first scag that I have ever had. Haven’t had any problems with it, but I’m by no means a scag die hard fan. I would probably get a new brand next time just to try something different. I have heard the Hustlers are nice. My yard is really rough. So having the seat suspension really helps, but I would probably splurge for something with a fully suspended rider deck next time. Lol

@Rosco Reviews I thought this video looked familiar haha. Yeah i can't stand scag, they rubbed me wrong for sure. That's an older patriot (pre-covid) so you're good to go :) I can take a video of my hustler suspension setup, it has the orange handle but it's completely different on the inside. I think all those tracseats on Amazon are take offs or the older models that didn't sell.

I found the video hopeful. I’m trying figure out how to do something like this with a seven year old commercial Cub Cadet. It’s either fox the back jarring or go to a stand up mower. By the way, Stanley Black & Decker own Cub Cadet and Hustler, along with MTD. If you see DEWALT mowers, same company.
