Her Darlene character was just a mopey angsty hate-the-world troll that Gilbert played with dazed eyes and a monotone voice, and everyone thought it was funny because aren't negative world-haters funny ha ha ho ho. She is not attractive, she does not have camera presence on film or on tv, her acting displays no range whatsoever, she completely lacks star power and charisma. So Boy Meets World and Full House found ways to make reboots so Sara saw an opportunity to bring back.... uh... that show... from the 90s with the poor family... oh yeah Roseanne... the one named after the lead. The one that lead to Sara having a career in show business. It is the same name she needed to have any success of a reboot. It was a guaranteed way for her to make decent money. I don't blame her for seeing opportunity with the other reboots. But to be successful she needed it to conitnue being called Roseanne because that is the name people would recognize. She doesnt have to be Roseanne's number 1 fan, but she can still be respectful. Being two-faced, is not respectful. Especially when your talent is a playing one kind of character. Thank you for bringing back the show. But learn to have back bone and dignity. Without the show, you wouldn't be a success.

Both of her siblings were famous child actors on a long running TV series . Her mother is an agent her grandfather has been in Hollywood forever. She was going to “make it” regardless of Roseanne. on the other hand, Roseanne was a standup comic who made it onto TV fairly quickly with this TV show. She had only been doing stand-up comedy for a few years before they started filming. The Hollywood outsider was Roseanne. Everyone else on the show, including John Goodman and Lori Metcalf already had a career in Hollywood and in theater, I think you need to check your facts.
