▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Rosetta Stone Spanish Review (How Effective Is The Program?). In this video, John from the Test Prep Insight team covers his review of the Spanish course and Spanish app from Rosetta Stone. This is quite possibly the most popular language learning program on Earth. However, that doesn't necessarily mean Rosetta Stone is the right choice for you to learn Spanish. John breaks down the major advantages and disadvantages of the Rosetta Stone language app. He talks about the company's lessons, their TruAccent speech technology and much more. Overall, the Rosetta Stone Spanish course is very heavy on visuals. The majority of drills and exercises you'll complete are variations of interactive flashcards. This is great for visual learner, but not so great for individuals seeking audio lessons and conversational help. The Rosetta Stone program is also light on English translations and directions. The company instead focuses on immersion to help you pick up the Spanish language quicker. Thanks for watching this Rosetta Stone reviews guide. Hopefully it helps you decide whether Rosetta Stone is the best app to learn Spanish for your specific needs.

I like the emphasis you put on Rosetta Stones' lifetime access to all languages for such a low cost. I used to think that this was a great program to get for refreshing and studying Spanish because I saw it selling at Costco years ago. You give much more in-depth coverage of the various benefits of all the available language programs I've ever heard about and some I've never heard of as well.

So i got a little Swedish dictionary and have a notebook that i use when doing Rosetta Stone, but i also just got a workbook to learn much more in terms of grammar. Rosetta Stone is great but i use it as a tool among a few others to build my knowledge. I totally agree with this assessment though! It’s really hard not to like it’s overall concept but the execution of things like the pictures are incongruous to the culture of the language or the lack of definition or explanation when it comes to grammar or a word you learned

I find Babbel works well for me, because I grew up in Texas and am familiar with Spanish in general. We actually have to take Spanish for several years in school. Babbel helps me with Grammer and understanding the pesky rules I could never get to speak Spanish like a native. I supplement with Rosetta Stone daily to code my brain to think in Spanish and to review. I would also recommend Spanish Dictionary has a lot of free material that I have found very helpful. Perhaps the best tool for learning Spanish, is to find someone who will speak it with you.

I am in love with my Girlfriend of almost 2 years. She is half Hispanic, and uses only Spanish when hanging out with her dad’s side of the family. We both graduated college only a year ago, so most of our time and money is spent working off our student loans. I would love to be able to communicate with her family without breaking the bank! I love the videos! And fingers crossed I get selected!

I paid an absurd amount of money for Rosetta Stone when they had discs for sale when i was in college BUT i have retained German specifically because of the way I learned the basics from Rosetta Stone. I don't need to think of how to pronounce words, form basic sentences and i rarely ever speak German. Using other tools like listening to music/watching shows also helps and isn't as boring but you need to force yourself to not use your native subtitles

That is one of the few problems that I have with using the Rosetta Stone program to learn Spanish. It is intuitive learning. I don't know why some words are phrased differently between the, they, are, and is. Why do girls and boys use different words when describing them. The program is still great and I do get better at learning Spanish with each practice but I sometimes don't know if I'm using a, are, or none at all in the sentence.

@TestPrepInsight
@TestPrepInsight 2 жыл бұрын
Ugh, so Rosetta used to have the lifetime package on sale more or less year round for $180, but right now it's full price. Their sale cycle just ended, so it's $300. So you'll either have to wait for it to go back on sale (I'd guess within 3-4 weeks), or opt for another plan. If you're really itching to get going, I'd suggest checking out Babbel, as we actually have their app rated out a little higher than Rosetta Stone and their lifetime plan is currently on sale for 60% off. Find that here: testprepinsight.com/go/babbel-comparison/

Pimsleur is great for getting a start on speaking the language in conversations. I am currently using it to learn Russian, but I also learned a bit of Ukrainian, as well. I used Pimsleur to learn a bit of Polish about 17 years ago, and I can still remember some of it (especially after a quick review). Duolingo really helped me to learn the Cyrillic alphabet used in Russian and Ukrainian. I can actually read a little bit now, which was my original motivation for learning Russian.

I strongly disagree with you. I think the "cultural irrelevant" images you speak of are intentional and add value. They will show you women of all varieties to learn "mujer" which triggers your brain to think it's not one specific type of woman, it's a woman in general. It also helps the person learning, who is most likely not from the culture of which language you are learning to relate.
