I will never forget the top gear episode when Jeremy Clarkson on a racetrack took a corner fast put his neck out due to g forces had to stop and an ambulance came and his comments were "i just got my neck put out of place by a datsun" must feel surreal!!

i remember that episode i must have watched it 50 times lol.. i referenced that in my first GTR review.. the speed is seriously neck snapping and the corning is even more sever!

Next time you drive one go R for gearbox comfort for suspension And R for traction actually hooks up quicker as your allowing the rear to squat down and get the traction it’s got my 60’ times down to about 1.4-1.5 seconds

After 1.5 years of owning this exact GT-R which I purchased in September 2020 I had to let it go to another car enthusiast because the Dictatorship run by Premier McGowan (McClown) has mandated the “Con-Vid” experiment into the people of Western Australia forcing tens of thousands to lose their careers. That aside, this absolute super beast of a car was the best automotive experience of my life. Never missed a beat. Car Giant sold it to me with average service history, black engine oil, not a lot left on the brakes, very low Tyre tread left, no wheel socket to unlock the the anti-theft wheel nuts and under 1/4 of a tank of fuel. On the good side, they did pay for 3 months registration when I pointed out the rego was about to expire (apparently the law covers for that?) and they also replaced the 4 anti-theft wheel nuts with another new set (cheap non genuine) then parked forward over the curb and scraped the underside of the front lip. When I showed them the damage, they offered to get one of their painters to fix it but my gut told me not to bother as the odds were too great that the paint job would be dodgy and what other damage would be done the next time they let one of their team drive it? Maybe I’m too fussy? But I feel cars of this caliber deserve a much more higher level of professionalism and care!

@@Eaglesbloke a private dealer bought it off me and it is was sold by him weeks later and now (Nov 2022) I see it is up for sale again with 83K’s on the clock and still in Perth, Western Australia. There is currently double the amount of GT-R R35’s for sale now in Oz but be careful because most of them are Jap imports and not Australian Specific and I’m not sure if the navigation computer is able to be changed to English? Also beware of Eastern States cars now, because of Fire, Storms and Floods there have been a few cars damaged for sale and some sellers are being sneaky about it by not stating hidden damages. Personally I am staying with West Australian cars and checking to see if they have been trucked over from East and newly registered in WA.

Had to laugh when you brought up the 2nd hand market prices. Cant find a 2009 GTR for under $110k in Australia now! Pretty sure the black edition is around $230k now. Appreciating asset for sure.

its really crazy man as you know i love a good V8 also.. the feeling of speed is like no other in these GTRs.. and i think it comes down to there amazing Gearbox & drivetrain. it just LAUNCHES SO DAMN HARD! the grip is always there so in other powerful car you would typically start spinning or have traction control take over.. this just goes! ROLLERCOASTER style haha love a R32 thats my fav (skyline)

And just keep in mind that these require an engine rebuild at Nissan's manufactures spec KMs. Not sure if it's at 160 thousand kms or engine rebuild at another set amount of ks.
