I dusted off the memory bank last night and in the tool kit which comes with the motor there are two bars. One is for the spark plug spanner and the other smaller one drops into the hole where the pulse for the fuel pump comes out. You then turn the engine slowly and it will line up with a hole in the crankshaft which locks the motor. At least it used to.

Hi, Im new to paramotor world and Im doing my project with this wonderful engine. So anyone with the expertise of this engine Rotax 582 feel free to answer this question. Are there any other connecting points of Rotax 582 other than the four studs located below the engine?

If my rear main seal leaks very little with less than 200 hours on the motor should that be a big concern right away or can I wait till my 300 hour rebuild to make repairs

Just keeping it real.. him not knowing the correct names of parts and places on the engine has me Second guessing the master engine rebuilder. Let alone the type of tools used.
