Hey Saline, that chicken wire stove looked pretty interesting. Lovely trail. Stay Salty..... Take care, Bluefin.

Thanks, Blufin. I didn’t take a lot of time trying it out the chicken wire stove, but I think it will work pretty good. I think the trick will be adding a few twigs at a time and get a little bed of coals first.

Our Lord is a loving God! Thanks for the share Scott! Roundtop is overgrown a lot in many places and that water crossing is not recommended when it's high. It was cold when I crossed it this past summer!

Thank you, Jeff. The water was not up too high, and it still looked kind of dangerous to cross.

It is so hard to believe that God can love us no matter how wretched we are. Great hike Scott. I am sure that hike did you some good too. It is always good to get out in Gods creation! We are so blessed as people, a nation, etc. Next time I am up that way, I will have to look up that trail. I looked it up to see what area it was in. I love that area in Wears Valley.
@SalineScott3 жыл бұрын
I love that area and the Townsend area. It’s easier taking it from Wears Valley to Townsend. If you have a shuttle at the end of the hike, the river crossing looks pretty dangerous in some spots.

Nice video Scott. I did that trail not too long ago but we didn’t backtrack so had to cross the river. 😬. Love the devotionals.
@SalineScott3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Wes. Backtracking was the hard part. I think I would have rather crossed the river. It’s much easier going from wears valley to the wye.

@@SalineScott I’m hitting Hen Wallow Falls today and thinking I will do the Shuckstack fire tower Saturday. I stayed at 32 Friday night and did all of Grapeyard Ridge out and back. It is pretty similar to Roundtop, just a beautiful walk in the woods.
@SalineScott3 жыл бұрын
@@mitnwes I was thinking about going up shuckstack Thursday evening and staying at campsite 113. Then loop around and come back down eagle creek trail. If I do that, I’ll stay at site 92 on Friday night. It depends on where it’s going to rain or not though because of the creek crossings. If I don’t do that, I’m going to go to Gregory bald.
