Just remember that the most powerful Evo X was the FQ 440 that came with the SST gearbox. There are several SST Evo Xs in the U.S with 600 bhp. The box can definitely handle the power.

Very good points. I hope to be the first youtuber to build an sst evo. Alot of people say the sst is weak but manual or sst they both handle 400 ft lbs on stock clutch and can handle way more with uprated ones

@@rowanlewisuk - yeh, it's the torque that causes the issues. Mine did 430bhp/400 on oem turbo/clutch pack with all bolt on upgrades. After mhi 18k/Dodson clutch pack 480/440. Point being gets very expensive to go past 430/400.
