Hi, I have three questions for you... Did you always take low-angle shots from the car, or were you able to get out of the car and shoot from a standing position? The second question is about using a tripod-did you ever feel the need to use one? And the third question concerns distance. Could you specify the closest distance you were able to approach, for example, lions or other animals? Thank you very much!
@RoxytheZoologist5 күн бұрын
On this trip we were always in the vehicle, so always shooting out the car. No, there’s no space for a tripod in this jeep. Distance depends on many things - the species, if they have young with them, the individual behaviour and how relaxed they are, if they are hunting or resting, there are many factors that come into play, it’s not a one rule for all. But in all instances, you park with enough space for them to continue with their behaviour as normal, and they can choose to come closer if they wish, but not the other way round

@@RoxytheZoologist Thank you very much for your reply. You know, I will be visiting Maasai Mara for the first time in February and March in 2025 and I am also planning to go to Tanzania in June, so I was curious about your experiences. I can't wait to be there. By the way I follow you on Instagram. I keep my fingers crossed for you and wish you the best on your wildlife trips!

Questions I had in mind, I went on a tiger and leopard safari recently and almost thought about getting out of the jeep to get good shots from a lower angle, but it was a good idea I was denied😂

Ahinsa is a Sanskrit word that means "non-injury" or "compassion" and is a key principle in Indian religions, including Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism. It is the practice of causing the least amount of harm to all living beings. Ahimsa is a central tenet of Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy and is considered a powerful force for social change. It is also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 16, which aims to create peaceful, just, and inclusive societies. 🙏
