Did you have to do a COVID test before you got on the ship?

Yes we did, currently the rules are test within 2 days before the cruise

So even in June July- Sweaters, Pants, and jacket needed??- We are doing this cruise next year- I'm trying to get an idea on the gear I need to pack?- Thank you

I would plan to pack layers, although we were very lucky and had very warm weather and ended up not using a lot of them! We only needed our layers when we did the glacier excursion. However, it can rain a lot, and it depends on what the weather is looking like! We hardly needed our layers in June, but the week after they had a lot of rain and colder weather!

Motion sickness is always a concern of mine. How were the waters in the open ocean?

We had a room in the front of the ship, and we could feel it moving at times, but it didn’t feel too rocky! Usually the middle of the ship and lower decks don’t feel as much movement.

Does RC arrive on time to each port? Roughly, How long does it take to get off the ship? Did you plan any excursions?

@@JTHunney The times to the ports did vary a little, but not too much to change anything for our schedule. They will announce if there will port times will change a little. We found it very fast to get off the ship. We did a whale watching excursion in Icy Strait Point, and the glacier explorer to Dawes Glacier. In skagway and Juneau, we jsut walked around and explored town- we will have excursion videos coming soon!
