Fun fact: the UK is the only country on Earth where the stamps don't say the name of the country on them, because the UK invented stamps and the postage system. Every other country writes the name of the country on the stamp. So Royal Mail have a responsibility of making cool full art stamps.

With the Populous stamp, before it was released the Royal Mail told us that when you lick it, it tastes like strawberries and gives you a deep, introspective hallucinogenic trip, that'll expand your mind and reveal new versions of reality to you. If you plant it in the ground, though, it'll grow into a massive tree after as few hours, and you can harvest more stamps off of it and lick/plant those, too! It's going to be the best stamp ever made. When you got it, it turned out to be a slightly below average, normal stamp.

Out of all the "1st generation" Tomb Raider games, I only really played Tomb Raider 3 back in the day. Mainly because it was the only one I could track down a copy of at the tender age of 7 or 8. And while I probably couldn't really go back to it today, since tank controls and platforming aren't the happiest of bedfellows for modern sensibilities, I did appreciate how "Adventures of Lara Croft" opened up after India. After that "world", you could go to Area 51, London and the South Pacific, in any order you desired. While I enjoyed Tomb Raider 2013 and most of Rise of the Tomb Raider, I feel like the next Tomb Raider game should return to that Indiana Jones style of globetrotting. Sure, we had a bit of that with the introductory Syria level in Rise of the Tomb Raider, but after that we're restricted to Siberia. Instead of focusing on a singular locale, as has been the wont of the "3rd generation" Tomb Raider games so far, I think I'd like to see the next game take a step back from the semi open-world aspect and instead have us exploring 4 or 5 more distinct areas revolving around ancient ruins, while still retaining the quasi-Metroidvania aspect of gaining upgrades that open up new areas. A bit like Jedi: Fallen Order, in that regard. As a side note, while I never played the original Tomb Raider game in its original form, I did play Tomb Raider Anniversary, which if I remember right was basically a remake of Tomb Raider 1 with more modern controls and polish. If Squenix had any sense in their head, they would have given 2 and 3 the "Anniversary" treatment, since I would have sunk my teeth into those back in the day.

There definitely was a PC version of Tomb Raider. I have it on Steam. Really good game - though back in the day it was annoying how NOBODY would shut up about it. Back around 1998 it seemed there were only 2 games that had ever been released, Tomb Raider 3 and FF7. Also, I had Micro Machines PC in a weird German demo/shareware compilation. I don't even know where the CD-ROM came from or why it was in our house, but yeah...MM was definitely in there. Also also, I remember having the demo for Worms 95 where you got to play both teams, and just gathering up all my Worms in one spot, putting a stick of dynamite down, and seeing how many I could blow up at once xD (Worms Armagddon is best Worms though.)

Lol, from the title I thought it was going to be a video game about stamps. I was very intrigued.

Brilliant. I wonder if it smells the same as his old, stained, rotten brown sofa?
