So Mystic Opal Cookie had returned, something I never thought I would see, but what amuses me even more is one of her notes in the collection for the special story. That note being: "She hopes that someday, she can reunite with her sisters. If fate allows." So what happened to her? She might have gotten lost while searching for safer waters, or she had to escape from enemies and ended up alone, or something like that. I then realized something. A new question had popped into my head. If Black Pearl Cookie lives in the Duskgloom Sea, and Mystic Opal has been living in a maze of islands near the Garden of the Queen and the Duskgloom Sea for so long she has lost count of the days she lived in there, then where are the others? Yup, I'm talking about Crimson Coral, Aquamarine, Gold Citrine, Frilled Jellyfish, and also where the new Tearcrown Kingdom may be. What happened that caused them to get separated? What happened AFTER they got separated? Will they ever reunite, or will fate not allow it? Will be confirmed dead in future stories? And could even Sugarteara/Wandercrab (both the city and the Cookies that canonically live or lived there) from Ovenbreak play a part or at least appear in Cookie Run Kingdom? Well, we'll just see in the future. For now, all I can say is Emo Mermaid is still wrecking ships and Anglerfish Girl is living in a maze of islands.

this story is genuinely so good, all that beast and ancient and legendary stuff really got me overwhelmed, sometimes a simple and GOOD story is what we actually want, this has to be my favorite update of this year!

this update is probably my favorite in this year. It’s so calming and the art and soundtracks are so soothing and just.. beautiful. Idk if it’s just me but I always feel overstimulated with big updates like the one with new ancients or beasts, so I’m glad we got something like this, it’s truly gorgeous

This is too funny that this plot is similar to Ovenbreak's Gingerbrave，like finding and wandering to the City of Wizard but more successful than Gingerbrave（Even Kingdom‘s Gingerbrave found it too，so.....Paradise Compass?） 11:20 I never thought we can see Mystic Opal Cookie, does it means the rest of Gem Mermaids also rest on there? 22:28 "Shadow of a Star" is NOT Stardust but part of it, although the voice and shape look the same, 24:18 can proved this, Stardust still travel though the galaxy

I don't really think Cookies kiss... You know, they've got flat faces so I imagine a kiss is very impractical as their whole face will merge... It has also never been confirmed that Sea Fairy loves Moonlight. We just know she loves the Moon itself. As for White Lily and Pure Vanilla, it would be nice seeing a love story expanded on for once! They are so adorable together!

@@cross_cobrax5630 This is not the case. Sea Fairy Cookie is not the Sea, that's what the Mermaids used to think, but even they now know she is just a sea fairy. ( I reference Star Coral's conversation with Mystic Opal, there she's referred to as "a fairy" or "The Sea Fairy" and that she longs for the "Moon".) Had she been the Sea, wouldn't have the whole ocean frozen with her? She used to be a guardian of Nature, protecting the Seas. (Another thing I just found is that Sea Fairy even says the sea is so vast there are areas even she cannot see in Sherbet's story about Life powder accumulating in one place.) Similarly, Moonlight Cookie is also not the Moon, but her powers do come from it. We know the Wizards made her. In the words of the Great Sage from the Crunchy Dreams story, "Your powers... Your life comes from the kind moon.". As for loving Moonlight, her exact words were "It can wait no longer. My Moon..." Earlier in the Mermaid tale story we are told that the "Sea" is distressed by the Lunar Eclipse which makes the Gem Mermaid's power weakened. Evey eclipse Sea Fairy mourns that she cannot see the moon at night. But the one that happened in the story is where she decides she could just reach out for the moon, but alas, Sea Fairy is cursed to be unable to exit the sea, so she freezes on top of her tower. In this same time Moonlight Cookie is either with the Wizards or in her Clock Tower, taking care of the City of Wizards as she has been doing her whole life, most likely not even knowing anything of that is happening. Their Bond story is basically shows Moonlight Cookie finding Sea Fairy and enjoying her Song to the Moon. This makes her think of the Wizards and how she longs for them the same way Sea Fairy longs for the Moon. And for the costumes, the Moonlight one is the form she takes when her and Stardust's powers meet together (The Stars and Moonlight, according to Wizard Cookie). The Sea Fairy costume has never been mentioned in the lore. I don't say it is impossible they have feelings for one another, but there simply is no concrete evidence to support it. Devsisters like to make anything of the sorts extremely confusing.
