RT footrest improvements

Thanks for the post. I just purchased a used 2006 R1200RT and I'm needing to make more leg room. I have log legs and stiff hips. I have lowered the pegs on my other motorcycles and found them much more comfortable. I'll refer back to your post here as I make changes to my bike.

Thank you for watching. I find that the footrests do make a big difference, especially on longer runs. Only downside for me, is that the kit does put the footrest more in the way when you put your foot down. Never caused me a real problem though.RegardsPB

Interesting i own BMW R1100 RT more than 10 years. Never in this time my foot has sliped of the foot rests.
