@@AlphaXVIgames I went to his website, and his fee comes out of the money that he saves you on the deal. Essentially, his service doesn't cost you anything. I used a broker a few years ago to buy a 4Runner, and they were able to save me almost $5K, even after they deducted their fee. Since brokers buy dozens of cars every month, a lot of dealers are ready to give them deals that would be impossible for regular people like us to get.

Disrespectful, arrogant, and the "we are doing you a favor by allowing you to walk in our building," attitude. Won't be buying a Honda in the future. No one from our family either. That's 9 people total. Stupid, greedy, miserable dealership people. They always think today, not the future. We have purchased seven vehicles total since then. All the kids are grown and moved. Not one Honda. In honest, I don't think these dealerships care. Why else would so many people be using your and others' services on purchasing cars. Not a wake-up call to the manufacturers? Thank you for this service. Maybe one day they will eliminate the middle people all together? I would rather buy direct or thru different means 100%. I really hate dealerships.

BRO….I went to one the other day to look at a 2025 GR Corolla and the salesman was rude af! The manager had to step in because how ridiculous he was being. He started off by asking what High School I went to, I’m like WTF, I am way too old to be reliving HS. So I tell him, in a super polite way, that I was a salesman for years and he doesn’t have to worry about the small talk. He didn’t like that and immediately says, “You were a salesman…I AM A PRODUCT SPECIALIST SIR….I AM A PRODUCT SPECIALIST SIR”….(He said it loud/twice, and I couldn’t help but laugh because a product specialist would know if he had a 2025 GR COROLLA in stock without looking it up because there is a 2024 in the showroom). It was wild af. What was funny was after the manager comes over and saves the day I ask him for a card and while walking with him to get his card I say, “now that is how you talk to someone” and I look back at the douche canoe and shake my head. It would take way too long to say everything that happened but it was hilarious. The guy was standing there like a vulture when I walked in….couldn’t even step in the door. He was the classic sleezy salesman…like the poster child😂

Hahaha! I went to go look at a Honda this past summer and the young salesman watched one too many Andy Elliot videos. He had a "process" that he had to follow. Even though I had just explained how I wanted a trade-in evaluation to see if they're even in the ballpark of what the vehicle was worth because other dealerships had tried to low-ball me. This new salesman didn't understand that there's an eb and a flow to conversations; you can achieve the same result in a different order. We got into a heated arguement, right in each others faces, and everyone at the open-concept sales tower was looking at us lol. When I went outside with the appraiser, he apologized profusely about 3-4 times about how that was unacceptable. What's funny too is I straight up told the kid "I'm not going to follow a process and waste how many hours of my day, getting to the trade-in evaluation damn near last, only to have to walk away because I'm getting low-balled." He still didn't quite get it lol.

I've only seen a few of these videos and I'm still not clear why Tomi is not friends with these sales managers just by being a broker. I don't get the negativity that goes on when he could just call and say, "Hey, this is Tomi, is the sales manager around", and do the deals? The manager has to finalize them anyway and if you just talk to people who can authorize a price, there doesn't need to be anyone else involved. The manager can work up the price in like a minute and you'd be done. He either can do the price or not and move on. It seems to me a sales manager would welcome such a call, knowing the likelihood of a sale would be immanent if the price was met. I don't know why he's talking to twinks at the dealership that cannot handle his style of buying. That boy didn't have the maturity to talk to someone like Tomi, which is a training and experience issue. I know nothing about this and fully admit it, but it also seems to reason that dealerships should be prepared for calls from brokers and by-pass the sales floor so that staff can assist other customers and someone in authority can make quick deals.
@BlitzHack25 күн бұрын
This is why I always deal with the sales manager. I have never found a good use for the floor sales guy. They can't make a call on anything so just a waste of my time. Its kind of like being pissed at someone and talking to their friend to relay the message to the person your mad at. I am sure this is for some kind of sociological advantage for the dealer. Tomi just felt like he won the deal at $5k off but originally they agreed on 10% off which would of been $5600.00 off. See what I mean?

Unfortunately, it's highly likely that the salesperson that potentially got fired still has no remorse whatsoever. A lot of people these days take no pride in the work they do. It doesn't matter what industry you're in. You need to respect your own job to begin with. In this case, if someone does this piss poor of a job in the retail/sales department, that means the person in question has no intention of carrying out his duty properly. This kind of mentality is created when they themselves don't take their position seriously. I work in food service industry and I can't even count how many spoon fed brats fail to the the most basic job in a restaurant. What can you expect? They don't respect the working class' work themselves, so when they're "at work" they're just killing time.
