Advice from Russia - if you really need to drive and there is a chance that the car will take a sip of water, turn around and drive backwards. stern cars dispersing the wave. The engine will be on the reverse side and the wave will not cover it. The advice may not help when the water reaches the windshield or windows, it will flood anyway. But you can see it in the videothat the average westerner is very dumb to understand such things, since they stubbornly drive and drown their cars. Many do not even understand what happened, trying to start the car, which aggravates the engine breakdown.

It’s not electric, but a plug in hybrid. Hybrid badge on the boot was the clue.

It is a fully electric car, not a hybrid. The green strip on the numberplate is a clue (and you can check the reg on DVLA to confirm).
