Honestly, one of the most interesting things to come out recently is being able to completely relight a scene. That has real value to filmmakers.

Seriously the golden question from any upcoming creator would be this: The question is comprehensive so I’ve listed it as steps 1-I want to feed characters that are digitally made or hand drawn and scanned 2-I want to assign numbers to my characters eg 1,2,3,4- - etc 3-I want to give prompts such as “ character 1 is climbing the stairs on the side of a four storey building while character 2 is simultaneously climbing the same building on the other side with a rope and character 3 and 4 are playing cards on a room on the 3rd storey of the building. 4-once the clip is made, I want to make the next scene with the same (and more added) characters. When is such simple command to action possible ?

maybe in a year or two? that we are even this far is totally incredible. This is still the first baby steps into AI movie generation, so its kind of strange to expect it to be finalized already. technology never stands still but things don't happen over night, well, sometimes, but rarely.

16:08 I agree with the person who said that a documentary is supposed to be documenting facts, not manipulating them. Sure, you can use AI to create historical re-enactments (as long as these re-enactments clearly appear fictional, and are represented in a filmmaking style). However, they didn’t just create a historical re-enactment. They created what looked like real-life photos that were taken of that person next to other people. That is obviously a misrepresentation. Even though they told everybody that they used AI to generate these photos, I still don’t think this is the right way to use AI in a documentary. I don’t think real-life historical photos should be altered with AI, nor should AI be used to generate images that look like real-life photos of a person to be used in a documentary.

What an amazing videos,, i've just one question even if i learn ai filmmaking for fun how can i monetize it? it's a big question i have in my mind.
@vikkiflawith3 ай бұрын
Read the terms of service and plan details for any ai generator you intend to use for still images or image to video. In my last look around it appeared that Leonardo and Runway allowed commercial use even on their free plan, but best you check to be sure. Others do not. Haiper, for example, is a great image to video generator but you have to be subscribed to their top tier to use output commercially (ie monetize it). At this moment I can't find anything on Kling ai.
@curiousrefuge3 ай бұрын
We teach this in our course. However, but certainly always check with terms. Also, be very careful what the ultimate output looks like.

@Experternas3 ай бұрын
@@curiousrefuge to code? what do you mean. Im talking about the language used. the Code if anything needs to intepret the language so "cup in one hand and flower in another" could easily be intepreted as cup in one hand and flower in a third hand. see what i mean by that. the shortcuts native english speaking people have in their natural language isnt nessesarly picked up by a strict language model. in a showcase example you should be proper or it's already dead on arrival.

@vikkiflawith3 ай бұрын
Back when I was studying graphic design, when there was no www, my teacher said, it doesn't matter what program you use to create your publication. What matters is the printer you use. I think it's the same thing here. Whatever ai platform you use is only as good as your own creativity and eye for balance, color, etc. You curate your output and work with multiple generations and experiment with prompts to find what you seek. The end result is a reflection of your own skill and creativity and interest in storytelling. AI is just a tool. I think also we should remember that films or tv shows take a long time to make, ai may attempt to remove actors, directors, producers, set designers, sound editors, and composers from the work, that means you have to be all of those things yourself. If it took, say, a year to make a single film you like, how long will it take you doing all of those things, to do the same? A 90 minute film would require 5400 seconds of high quality film, that's about 1080 x 5 seconds of video output, considering the fact that you have to 'retake' scenes multiple times, it's probably over 20,000 generations just for image, never mind dialogue and music. Each generation takes minutes to process and then you have to curate it/watch it, edit it, upscale it, etc. Still, I think it's viable to use these tools to make videos and short films, we just have to be realistic. If it gets to 'push the button and there is your film' it would lose all interest for me as a creator.

It's true that storytelling will be the king no matter how great these tools get!
