Have watched several other crossover tutorials, and this one is the most unique and straightforward. Jumping with your arms crossed is a brilliant way to practice this that I'm excited to work into my previously mostly sad attempts haha. Good clean techniques!
@dwightpeters3 ай бұрын
will say also, one hard part for me is the transition back, the uncrossing. hope this helps. would be interested if you have more info on this aspect or if this arm hugging technique will be enough

This tutorial legitimately helped me with my crossovers. I was able to do about 10 or so alternating crossovers at speed. I have short arms so I combined your advice from another video to bend forward in the crossover a bit and that was the trick! Thank you. Good drill.

100% you’ll get it. Practice and you’ll find your own rhythm and these little gem RA videos are just the best with the best little hacks and tricks that make allllll the difference. Also, when adjusting hands and body etc make very small changes and you’ll see the biggest difference.

Yooooo how mad! Just last night I was watching Rushie and one of the JRD boys from 4 years ago, about this move!!! Then I wake up this morning (still waiting on my RA ropes from Saturday grrrr lol and just kidding - well…) pretty and much unlocked cross overs and running for good! Yayyy. Now I just need the consistent double under hack video and I’m good for a few months. Big love.

So the thumb should be pointed downward or upward( from your video) when crossing the rope? 🤔
@danielerudoni Жыл бұрын
Best advice your video gave me was the noodle arms, that allowed me to close way more crossovers than before. Now I'll try this too, cause I'm sure I have to improve the figure of the loop, it's still not neat as yours. Thanks for the tip 🎉

I'm right handed and when my right hand goes over left hand I trip but if it goes under I can do 20 crossovers in a row. Almost made 50 the other day with the running place footwork. Thanks for all the tutorials. Still can't do double unders though.😂❤🙏🏾

I can do 10 consecutive triples but I’m so trash at crossovers ( I’m a semi pro badminton player )
@TheJumpRopeAddict Жыл бұрын
I switched to using my left hand as my strong hand for skipping and it helped my crosses as well!! I’m finally getting my double unders, keep practicing and don’t give up they are a tough trick to get down especially consecutive DU and DUX’s!! I can finally get a couple down and that’s my main focus now is staying in the same place when jumping and landing and getting that timing down for DU

I'm right-handed, also, but I have inflammation in my right shoulder. I found it hurts less when my left hand goes over my right hand (right forearm touches my abdomen).
