Still in pajamas until 9:30-10:00… 😂 Yesterday morning was listening to another Eckhart video, and I realized that I am alright now and there is nowhere I need to go and nothing I need to achieve. I am complete in myself right now. And I felt richly alive inside. Vibrating sweetly inside ❤. I feel the same as I type this. I’ve been doing healing and awakening work for years now (I am 33). This is the most/ only important thing I’ve found to “do” with my life- to learn to BE here. To enter the present moment. To raise my consciousness. And from this state, good and right action will manifest from me in the world 🌍. It feels so good not to work hard 😓 from my ego pressuring me to achieve something externally! What a relief! The higher state of consciousness is so rich and powerful. Anyway, thank you for your comment. Made my day.

Lol same. I have described it this way many times, specifically when I reached the point of being suicidal, that was the fertilizer I needed to help the seed of enlightenment grow (which was actually planted by eckhart through "A New Earth" when I was 19 but I was so deep in ego at the time that even though I resonated deeply I struggled to change my habits to match. ) I still have a long way to go but it has become much clearer and I feel much more joy these days. @Eyes Wide Open Let it happen. Don't fight against your thoughts. Observe them in a state of tranquility. Realize it is not necessarily you torturing yourself. It's a programm in your mind. @Nasengold4 жыл бұрын
@Eyes Wide Open I have been there too. It's pointless to end your life. You will even take more trouble on yourself doing so. I know it sounds weird but that is the reality. One way or the other, you will be stuck working this out. You have the option to learn from it, or to be doomed to repeat it. Don't look at yourself as a victim. Nothing is done to you, it is given to you. It's opportunity. Believe me it will get better if you work on it.
@Nasengold4 жыл бұрын
@Eyes Wide Open Why does it even matter what happened to you or in what condition this planet is? It literally has nothing to do with who you are today. Unless you want it to be like that. Unless you like to identify with that. Search your true self and these things won't bother you anymore. Not like you won't care anymore but you won't be bothered anymore. If you liberate yourself from your past, you are pretty much invincible. There is no point in looking back in the past unless you want to release it. Live in the present. Make the present great. Step by step. Little things. They will add up and pave a way for you. Work can also be fun. You just need a chance. And if you walk on your true path, chances will come. I have been there. Drugs, toxic family, father died when I was still in school, depression, relatives fighting over money. I have been severely depressed for 8 years straight. I cried when the mail man ringed. I lived with spiders in a tiny messy room and washed myself maybe two times a month. I didn't even go outside. I was pale like a vampire. It doesn't have to be like that. Today these are valuable experiences.

I sometimes think in the UK too,.previous generations, who had their youth ruined by two world wars, started in another country. However, due to the threat of oppression, UK people, told they must fight the oppression, endure the hell of the blitz, lose loved ones and so much grief. The soldiers came back, walking wounded, to no jobs and the country, bankrupt no welfare and told, get on with building back.up our country. Which they did. But do not talk about your grief and loss. Many of them are now in our care homes ( thank God we have them and the devoted people who care ) but with Alzheimer's and Dementia as the physical expression of confusion to their denied emotional state of consciousness, which was denied expression? Has any scientist or medic considered this?. And the gift to the survivors of these generations,was due to the then strong ethos of Christianity to look after the sick, disabled, poor and vulnerable and to protect their children from disease. Which is why the UK NHS is so treasured..And that superb, shining, SELF LESS generation of the war and post war years ,to which the late, Sir Captain Tom, God Bless him,is a pure example, were brought up with the spirit of the Christian teaching of being SELF LESS with their very own fruits of the Holy, Divine Spirit, their own PPE. Perserverance, Patience and Endurance. Christian faith or access to ' the TRUTH which sets you free', Denied for so long, to the people of Russia and eastern Europe, because the huge egos of leaders of communism and fascism is such, they will not tolerate, ANY BEING or state of being, which they see as competing for the hearts and minds of the people, to whom, their intent is to control. And now when the British people , especially who have earned their emotional intelligence lessons, have great unease to see the increase in secular UNELECTED governance of people and do not want any further part in it, are called racist, bigots and ' unintelligent ' because a piece of paper ( on what) in a university is valued as intelligence and hard earned, self sacrifice and wisdom is not.

My brother - who has saved his own life with meditation and brightened many others with his advocacy - has sent me books over the years, and Toll was one of the first. I am 73 now, and meditation is the answer I avoid in spite of what I *know* from the years I spent practicing complete yoga.... I have a diagnosis now that makes me compassionate with a life of not doing well by myself and others...which is nice, but immaterial to the enduring chaos of my mind and my "forgetting" to sit down. I mention my age because as much as I loved reading all my life, it is difficult now - I experience and retain what I hear much more than what I read. So after decades, here is Toll speaking, and me hearing, thanks to staying in this section - thanks to you being so shiny and delightful over the years that I followed you here. Thank you, dearest Russell - I know how it feels to listen as you do here - that is, I remember that breath and instinctive deepening of breath to make room... What I am facing for just a moment is how deeply -literally - my existence is weighed down and enclosed by things that hold "my" history - objects that help me remember what I was capable of, the earnestness of my generous ego-ridden intentions... I have been grieving my inability to remember anything about myself and people I love for so long. My mind WAS my strength - but it could not preserve experience.... And now I limit my experience, shut down... This speaking has brought my not-living into focus. Now I'm going to walk in the woods - my saving grace. I can't know what difference this time here will make...if I will remember, or try to. Thank you both…

Eckhart does bring some valuable insights but sometimes it's like he speaks of another world. The majority of people have to live in a society of power, ego, money, position, influence, etc. So I think his teachings are valuable for a few, but as for the majority, most of us have to focus on meeting what society expects of us so we can survive. @@Elcherino123 I think what he is talking about is even more important for those making the biggest influences into rules i.e. the rulers, politicians, CEOs... who do not depend on anything for survival anymore as they are wealthy beyond any danger. As for the majority, like you and me, he didn`t suggest us to stop taking decisions that ensure our life, he only asked to stay aware of our surroundings, and to not objectify our "adversaries". To me it seems more and more that humanity is at a crossroad and so far the technochracy we live in has not have the interest to make the decisions that would lead to the right path. It is the contrary - and that all over the world. I think if his suggestion is applied, be it by the rulers or by us, the people, it can be what makes it so that these kind of decisions are enabled.

I was feeling rather lost , lonely & directionless after a bad accident forced early retirement ( I’m 62) & during several weeks spent alone in self isolation I started drinking more to ‘anaesthise’ myself & recognise I’m dangerously close to complete addiction. I have actively engaged in listening to / reading information that may help make more sense of life & motivate me - philosophy, Buddhism , alternative politics / economics but nothing that came anywhere close to personally resonating with me as what Eckhart has to say. Id never heard of him before but I feel like it’s ‘God Sent’ to help me at this particular time .

@dasaanudasi4 жыл бұрын
There is: transcendental-form; but it is beyond the material senses. In another realm, that can only be reached through the Lord in the heart. Russel Brand, knows about this: and the process of attaining that: through vibration. From the ancient scriptures; the process is given. This is just a distraction and what does He know, compared to the self-realized sages, of old? "Nothing new, under the sun". I remember, when I was in Sweden, distributing Books (Vedic-literature) and He called the Police on me. I was only trying to help his deluded followers. Sure, I was outside of His conference, but ws public property. Mr. Toolie felt threatened, I guess? Why He didn't discuss the issue, instate of calling the cops: IDK

Well, you just don't do that. Nothing bad about Vedic literature; I've read the Ramayana (short versikn) and the Mahabaharata (full text) and I love them. But to go to a conference of system X to hand out advertisements of system Y is very bad form.

Eckhart Tolle: " The world is full of intelligent people, but not wisdom" " Science without wisdom is dangerous". How of the present moment are these two comments. We have powerful human egos spending billions in a ' space race', when the space we urgently need to focus on is the space we call Earth and home, this room we live in now. The land which needs irrigating for food crops. The reservoirs which need building so all people and especially for the continents of Africa and India to have clean, running water. And then we have THE TREE. The ANCIENT WISDOM OF TREES, their roots interlock with each other to hold the soil in place. Trees have the very first world wide web of interconnection as they talk with one another. Their roots take water and previous fallen leaves to nourish their growth. Their leaves take in Co2 and give out Oxygen. The trees branches are home to the birds and all types of insects and small animals. The trees and their inhabitants, live in a collaborate, collective of consistent give and take. The Tree of Life and plants give to all of humanity and look what we do to them? Burn them, destroy them to grow GM crops, designed by men to live for only one year for the profit of a few and denial to the many.

I say with the best of intentions; nothing to be sad about. The only people that need this are the ones who are willing to listen. It will only resonate then and not before. Those who would tune it out are teaching themselves at their own, probably more tumultuous, rate and that's fine. What's important is that YOU hear his message and are in those people's lives and through your practice of the wisdom those around you will be more easily awakened. Your ego is sad because of its expectations for those others but they don't need anymore expectations. They need someone around them who is present. Peace to you.

It's true but as we grow in spiritual maturity when come to discover that without the unconscious, we would never have the desire to transcend our egoic mind. I often struggled with this and then a shift happened where I saw clearly that those that were against me or my path could be used to deepen my experience of my true self. I found that to focus on those, out there, was my own subtle ego tricking me into not being silent so it's so much easier to just let others go.

I watched then my sister sitting next tohis bedside, quiet, dim light, holding his hand. This was sacred ground. We were observing the passing of a life. There was a supernatural energy in the room that deserved respect and reverence. What honor to be invited into a space like this to pay respects, i thought. When my dad breathed his last, there was an intensity of energy not a waning. Amazing.

When he was talking about heaven, Russell was looking up like he was imagining everything Eckhart said.. ❤️ I love these people. I wish we could form a society, a Island, if you will... were awaked people could live. I yearn for it! No one's on the same page...it's exhausting.

@Darren I myself had an experience of Spirit a year ago almost near the time as this video was posted and had similar realisations of various "gurus" being asleep. But in the experience I had after fasting naturally and not needing sleep, through "the power of love" alone, I was being tested by some other "people" in different scenarios whether I am Jesus. And it was all very weird and confusing, too long to say the whole story, but I believe I had awakened my light body and then magical things started happening. I was constantly contacting the "Spirit of Love" and the "Absolute law of love" if that makes any sense.

My life is falling apart (in my mind) so true for most of us who are suffering the emergence of chaos to order. I’m out of my mind right now but I am feeling this is an awakening in me
@ruthbentley2090 Жыл бұрын
Natalie, my experience has shown me that “falling apart” is a necessary precursor to a time of deep inner reflection… sometimes known as “ dark night of the soul”. Without this, it can be really difficult to re-evaluate everything about what you perceive about yourself and life itself. I wish you well…and even though this comment is 3 years later, I truly hope it has been a time of profound growth spiritually. Blessings. 🎶🦋

Thank you Ruth! How strange to see a comment from 2 years ago! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have prospective. It has been a dark night of Soul for sure and since then so many difficult like changing things have happened and I have done much work on my self. I am in a good space. I feel I am in a new cycle of life and I have grown a lot. Best wishes for 2024 to you Ruth! All the best!

I feel like this is the only video that anyone in the world needs to watch. And I am so glad that Eckhart clarifies that despite the flaws in religion, Yeshua as a person and a symbol is nevertheless the crux of everything. I was given one brief glimpse at transcendence..... and it changed my perspective forever. God is most definitely not dead, and is most definitely Love.

@@leahlevinmartins i don't reject christ, but i do reject christianity, because it has nothing to do with who jesus was and what he stood for. The work of christ is not represented by anything that came out of the roman catholic church with it's satanic paedophiles that are responsible for christianity, most modern teachings of the bible just wrong imo.
