Thanks from Dubai... I have been to Russia last month (Moscow & SPB). I Never felt such warm welcome in any other country I visited. There were people always willing to help us in stores, helping to carry the baby stroller where there are no ramps, etc.. Being Indian, I cant understand Russian language but people were always volunteering to help us. Thank you Russia

I would love to visit Russia one day. My mom vacationed in Moscow for two weeks in 1988 when it was still the USSR. She said everything was huge there and very cheap, however at that time she said there were limited products at the stores she visited. The people there were very nice and helpful. The locals were perplexed why someone from Hawaii would travel hundreds of miles to visit their country. Lol. She said it was one of the best vacation she ever had 😁 Great video 🤙🏽

I agree. Also food from small markets tend to be more wholesome and tasty. The world should go back to natural lightly packaged market foods . To much plastic being used everywhere in the world causing a massive disposal problem.

Mind boggling big store!🎉 We used to live in Atlanta, our stores weren't that big. Lots of big stores, with lots of merchandise. But not under one roof. My husband John and are enjoying your videos from our mountain home in Mentone Alabama. I am one of 800, U.S. corporate travel home agents , working for a global travel company. I used to shop at a giant market it like this when I lived in Dhahran SA and I loved it. It was called Super Marche. I loved to shop there. So much room. Here in Austin, Texas we don't have a giant super market. We have Sam's and Costco but they are just big box stores. The rest of our markets are not that big. Also, I have been noticing how inexpensive your sushi is in these stores also. I love sushi. I would buy that overtime!! HA!!HA!! Thanks for another fun video!! Love from Texas❤️

We have scales like that too, where I live in Houston. But they're only for produce, and they're only at one store that I regularly go to. They could be at other stores that I don't go to, though. I love those scales! It makes checkout so much quicker when you don't have to rely on a cashier to know what arugula or oyster mushrooms are, or to know the difference between cherry tomatoes and grape tomatoes, and find the right code in a book!

That store is beautiful, we have Aldi and Lidel which are both German grocery stores here & yes we have to pay a quarter to use a grocery cart/ trolley, I always give it to the next person getting a cart. Great video - it's great to see how far Russia has come since the 80's. People who have never lived in a collective don't understand how capitalism is the only way to bring success to the economy. Look at the difference between N. Korea and S. Korea. All of Eastern Europe was communist and poor. Sweden was very poor until they adopted a capitalist society 50 years ago. Also, it seems like a lot of the American commenters on here live in small towns because this grocery store is definitely big, but no bigger than Walmart, IKEA, Costco, Super Target, Meijer, etc. Walmart you can get groceries, a new outfit, a computer and TV, camping gear, art supplies, a haircut, oil change, eye exam and a manicure in one visit. Plus have lunch!
