Rusty Scissors Restoration - De Useful Hand

Restoring a rusty scissors I found it at my grandparent's house used to be. The house stood there for more than 50 years, so this scissors must be really old, and it shows .

At the 7:44 position it seems like there was magic, did the surface become smooth and mirror like that with an application of polish? How many times or what else did this process do to achieve this degree of polishing? Good job. Congratulations.

I was wondering the same thing. Depending on the original condition and age, I personally would have left a bit of the pitting. I wouldn't have polished it so much. It's like taking away the history of these scissors. They spent 40 years in the ground, let people see and appreciate this fact.
