I no it's not fancy looking but I actually prayed that our Heavenly Father would lead me to a good one, not knowing anything, I plan on keeping it for the rest of my life and visiting all of the south west,I live near Joshua Tree, of course little items need attention such as covering the cheap wallpaper and getting rid of those three panel shower doors. The motorhome has no leaks, but I would like to have a person that weighs less than 170 video my roof so I can rest on that matter.I found out that for the windshield you want a two piece gasket type, not a one piece glue in, the one piece is expensive to replace and can pop out. This Bounder was manufactured in Riverside California late 2003 and the chassis in the fall of that year,as it was nice cool weather in both locations, not too hot nor for the chassis manufacturer too cold, I mentioned the weather conditions because the employees working under best conditions can and does affect workmanship.I just want your viewers to maybe buy older units as you have advised many times,my Bounder still smells like new,I mentioned this before,I have no idea other than the prayers.

Yes. There is more to this story about the graduation. Never should have been brought up in this issue. The man seems over dramatic as far as the graduation. I bet it was his decision to not go. He could have sacrificed to go If it was important. Winnebago certainly sounds responsible for the RV, not being serviced correctly, but this couple seems responsible for not getting to the graduation. Sickening.

@@pyromcr And where is it written in the Anti-Boomer Book that a parent shouldn't spend the money they earned on what they want, and not a degree their kid wanted? It's none of the kid's business what the parents spend money on. As long as the parents took care of the kid for 18 years, they don't owe him anything more. If they WANT to contribute, that's nice but certainly not mandatory like some little whiners believe.

Recently, a friend of mine's brother was purchasing a grand design coach. Fortunately, his wife was held up at work, was not there when they were completing the purchase/financing paperwork and the inspector was just completing the inspection when she arrived. They went in to complete the paperwork and right before the wife signed, the inspector came and said "do not purchase that coach". They stepped outside to talk and the salesman attempted to get into the conversation. They informed the salesman that they were not completing the purchase and left the dealer. The dealer kept asking for a copy of the inspection and was told no, they were not the client and had no right to a copy. The dealer apparently contacted the inspector, again to get a copy of the report and was informed they would not get one. All his brother has said is that was the best $500 he ever spent. I agree with your video/comments.

Unfortunately it’s not just Winnie, but basically all manufacturers. Part of the issue is when everything was shut down during Covid, the good older techs & builders (at both manufacturers & dealers) had to go elsewhere to find jobs. A lot of younger folks working on the lines today (& in repair) are not properly trained/supervised & don’t have the commitment to quality in their work ethic. And most salespeople don’t even RV so have little RV background. While there were always differences in quality, I started in late 90’s & the differences I see now among various workers/sLes/unit quality is astounding. Some folks say well they’re not meant to be lived in full time; perhaps not, but people have been doing that for eons. Also they are RVs, so Should be meant to travel down the road & handle the shakes & bumps. Cabinets should not fall off the wall after 2 short trips an hour away from home!! Just saying!!

Our last one was a Texas built '01 Foretravel U320 a wonderful unit but nickel and dimed us until we sold it. I believe a large Class B is the way to go if it must be a motorized unit but a towable trailer is the cheapest less hassle free way to RV. Service most always takes weeks or months due to warranty parts getting to the dealer. Dealers say they ordered the parts and they also arrived a lot longer than it needs to. As a customer "I" was willing to pay for overnight FedX or UPS and they said "it's not set up that way with the manufacture". If the manufacturer would pay for overnight service if the RV is under warranty... That could really help the dealers and customers. Then second... If the parts are not under warranty, ask the customer if they are willing to pay for that service. Waiting for parts could be the first thing these dealers and manufactures could do to help their customers. The dealer could move more RV's in service per month and of course make more warranty and non- warranty profits!
