I always hook up the filter 1st and then the hose. I feel this would keep the hose clean as well.

Ah, if you’re talking about the elbow on the RV it’s because the sewer dump hose compartment door is right below it and it binds up on the hose if it’s pointed down when I open the compartment door to dump my sewer.

I thought the elbow at the tra I thought the elbow at the RV is to point to the ground. This would stop the hose from kinking. Is this the right way or is the video the right wa???????

Honestly, it don’t matter. I use the elbow and point side ways so if I have to open up that basement door below it I don’t kink my hose. ☺️

I'm a little confused...first was the filter new? and is that why black stuff was coming out? Should I rinse the filter out every time? Also....was the water not coming out from white hose because of the water restrictor pressure regulator?

Hi Lynette, yeah the pressure regulator I had was broken so I have since replaced it with a new one. The filter was brand new and you always need to flush the charcoal dust out one time when they’re new like that. After you’ve done that you don’t need to flush it again and you can use it all season. 😁
