I just got this drone yesterday for $100 (regular $179.00) at Walmart and honestly for the price it’s worth it! I flew it today and everything went good,everything functions,connects quick,vids/pictures work! I got at least a good 20 mins out of the battery etc..I would recommend this for a person just learning to fly one!

2022. Have a used one i bought off a friend who upgraded. $100 for multiple batteries included. Have had great fun with this drone. Pretty impressed with the range it has for being such a basic drone (as long as you turn off beginner mode)

If you were to take a close look at the different cables, the one it comes with is thicker or heaver , I'm using the factory one.

I had this drone for about three day's. At the time of the this drone's release, the battery was not available. I think they released this drone in a big hurry. I did go online recently and discover that the battery is now available. At the time of my purchase, I used a smaller wall plug to charge the battery and it took around 6 hour's to charge. Being a Autel and Phantom 4 pro owner, I immediately took the drone back without actually taking much time with it. I believe if I would have used a 1.5 or 2 amp wall charger, it would have boosted charge times by at least half. Good drone, may go back and repurchase in light of this video. I think for the price, it's a hard little drone to beat. Maybe in the future they will have one with a gimbal for a little more. Thanks for the video.

Its the current capacity of the charging source that determines the rate of charge, the usb voltages are all 5vdc, current is roughly 0.5amps, 1.0 amps, 2.x amps

I hoped someone would expose the truth, there. ty 2.4-2.5 amps is the maximum safe rate and a 2.4 amp adapter will get it charged from a ~15% level to 100% in just over three hours, here.

I like the Li-on battery and the fact that it doesn't have a proprietary charger. If they run this again at Christmas time, I might pick one up. From the videos I've seen it looks very easy and straight forward to operate.

I got the warranty too and the company never would answer the phone or respond to emails. They are easy to fix my motor burnt out so i bought 4 spare motors .

My dad got it for that Wal Mart deal, but after 2 days of trying to get it flying we still to have a 'lemon' battery in the controller. When plugged in, the controller shows red, then to green and stays green. We've charged it long and short periods and when trying to use the app always shows the controller batt is low, gives us warnings about connection to controller, etc and we thus can't ever fly it. Have you heard of that issue, or know if they have any issues with 'lemon' batteries? I emailed them via the site but I'm sure that'll take awhile to hear back. Hoping they can just send out a new controller or batt for it to swap in.

Once the batteries are back in stock...buy a couple (with a couple of extra micro USB cables & wall adapters) and you’ll be able to charge several batteries at once and use them to fly for a longer time (fly, land, & swap)...

I got one for Christmas and it is a lot easier to fly than my DX-2. Does the Transmitter always beep when flying the drone? How do I tell when the transmitter is charged?

If you are recording, it will continue to beep (until you stop recording) that’s just a way to let the pilot know that the aircraft is recording video… When the lights go solid on the controller, it is done charging…

It does fairly well against wind, but you need to put it at the highest speed to really go through heavier winds. Since its a brushed quad, it doesn’t have the same power as a brushless one, but still does very well against wind when set to a higher speed. I don’t recommend taking it out with winds faster than 15 mph. As for the weight it can carry...it seems to handle a GoPro camera with no issues, so that should hopefully give you an idea of the weight it can take...

If you use GPS then the Drone stays stable while in flight... If you do not use Camera or the Gps then it doesn't do well.

No, you can turn the battery on (without it being in the drone)…

Ok I got a shadow gps drone I got from a friend it look almost like new I’m using a charger from home to charge the battery . Now it’s completely charge so when I put the battery in the drone the lights won’t come on , on the drone the red and blue lights I don’t see can you help me

Oh that simply means that you need to calibrate the GPS compass of the drone… Simply spin the drone around clockwise for about 3 or 4 turns (while the camera is facing out) and when you notice a couple of the lights go solid, face the drone camera down and rotate it another 3 or 4 spins until the lights change…

Well aside from restarting the drone & controller, try re-calibrating both the drone’s GPS compass and gyros (the manuals and online help will explain how this is done). Also connect to the app and check if the drone’s settings are correct…

I usually charge the batteries while they are not inside the drone… and yes, each LED starts blinking as the charge progresses....

That little drone runs fine on standard promark batteries...just make an adapter similar to the phantom 3. the drone doesn't seem to care. it runs about 12 minutes on just 2000mah promark lipo or 20 or so using both.

How do you know when the controller is finished charging?

There is a little battery icon LED displayed at the bottom of the controller...while it's charging, it is red. Once it's fully charged, I believe it turns green (or is off).

I haven’t tried but I’m sure it probably won’t work… Even if it does, it would probably be risky to fly it that way (as the weight, voltage, etc would be different and may throw off the quadcopter and its flying capabilities)…

Correct, all 4 lights on the battery should be lit (solid, without blinking)...

simply pinch the top and bottom of the battery (with little plastic tabs) and pull… That should allow the battery to slide out…

Has anyone had a "Low voltage" message on their controller? Fully Charged, once the unit is calibrated and ready to fly, the low voltage message appears and sets off the red flashing lights on the drone. Promark customer service is NON-EXISTANT, they do not respond to any requests. It must be a one arm man in a one man office. How do I fix the low voltage problem.... Should I try a higher voltage battery? (currently 3.7V)

*This is a known bug that occurs if you fire up the app too quickly or too late. Pay special attention not to fire up the promark GPS app until just after you have synced the controller (up and down movement on the throttle stick). At that point the far left upper LED on the controller will be STEADY on. Follow the startup guide carefully and you should be okay.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Jose! Yes, it appears that this is almost identical to the HS100... Now the question is which one is a clone of which? I’m not sure if the HS100 was out before this one or vice versa, but I am pretty sure that the parts are probably interchangeable and you can use one with the other… It would be interesting to see… Thanks for the info! :)

It is recommended that you remove it and charge it separately, but it might be possible to charge it while it is in the drone. Having it connected to the drone and being charged at the same time could present some risk to the drone (as voltage is running through the battery and connection). I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, as the charge passes time, you will see the blinking lights on the battery progress from being one, to two, to three until all four lights are solid...

I crashed the drone underneath my bumper, and still worked and then I crashed on grass from low and then I got white and red blinking lights and won’t start or take off anymore, when I turn on the battery only one blue light turns on the other three are off and when it’s charging there is only one blinking blue light, do you think It’s broken already? And also I can’t find the WiFi signal on any of my phones. ?

Well, try turning everything off and then turn it back on and try the proper, pre-flight process again...If you are unable to get it connected and working for take-off....then unfortunately it would appear as if it probably might be damaged...

Well ultimately, the DJI Phantom 3 Standard is the better drone (in every way)... The idea is to get a drone that is similar to that at a much lower price (but not instead of). If you can get the DJI Phantom 3 Standard, then definitely get that, but if too much...then I recommend getting the Promark GPS Shadow drone with extra batteries and micro USB cables with 12W wall adapters...

Here is the problem with purchasing the battery. I used the link, but my walmart will not only not ship it to me directly, but also will not ship it to a walmart within 50 miles of me. This is very concerning and I hope this is fixed soon.

With the Black Friday sale, the drone and its accessories have been selling very well… So there is probably just a shortage of stock with the batteries… I’m sure once they restock (within a couple of weeks or so), there will be plenty more available.

I would just buy a drone take it back to Walmart within 2 weeks and when you return it keep the battery get another drone return it within 2 weeks keep the battery get another drone return it keep the battery.i have 6 batterys now. Plus if you crash it like I have many times you got a brand new drone every time it's a great way to learn how to fly without worrying about crashing
