Okay but this movie slapped for some reason when it came out and then just got cringier and more problematic as the years went on lol Also about the scene where Zendaya uses the app on Charlie, she doesn't command him to like Rachel she just said for him to be more open and expressive about his feelings. Which could have backfired if it turned out that Charlie disliked Rachel because he would have been more open about his dislike for her. But yeah she definitly took a lot of free will away and took forever to try to actually fix it, like girlie no this aint it

The last time I saw this I think was when it first came out on Disney. I don’t really remember that much about it besides Zendaya’s character controlling boys & one or a couple of them acting like dogs. I think I might of liked it then but also never really cared for it to be honest. If that makes sense. I honestly just forgot about this movie to begin with. Love watching your videos especially the Disney ones. You do an amazing job!

watched it as a 12 yo guy purely for zendaya, but, looking back at it I find not only controling people problematic, but this crazy gendered mentality: boys are dogs, girls don't like other girls and always compete with each other, I thought 2014 disney was out of that phase, but, I guess not. Also, the main guy really gave off debby ryan vibes, with that beanie, I wonder if he does a secret podcast too with that outfit + fake deep voice was not it, at all, I wish they switched the actor, who played her stepbrother with the main guy, cause he's kinda cute, ngl, I would have a crush on him, rather then the "cellphone" guy

I loved it as a kid. As a teenage girl, just like Rachel in that movie, I was boy-crazy and obsessed with boys to the point of having a photo of my crushes in my locker - including a picture of Louis Tomlinson. For some weird reason, I loved it because I thought it was about boys and how to deal with them as a teenage girl. It also had dancing, including hip hop and a bit of break dancing, and since I was and still am a dancer myself, that aspect resonated with me. Now, at 25, I still enjoy dancing, but I understand it might be a problematic movie to watch. However, if it can teach people that they can't control other people's behaviours like they are robots or slaves and remind them not to be glued to their phones all the time but rather to enjoy life outside of a screen, then that's great.

Zapped didn’t age well because it was never well. I remember watching this when it came out and even as like a 9 year old I remember feeling uncomfortable throughout this whole movie and I never watched it again. I also found everything super cringey so I skipped a lot of it. I remember only liking the part where they’re dancing and the scenes with Adam because I thought he was cute.

About Zachary Gibson, if I remember well this was his first acting job.
