He was that final piece in that defense....we may have been the ones winning 2 super bowls the past years . We could play 3-4 and be in a nickle basically..or 3-3-5 and be in the dime.(With him becoming a DB basically). I am just glad he is recovering in whatever ways are possible..keep it up Ryan....#SHALIEVE I really would hope to see him on the field still. Took several years to find the 2 or 3 guys that can pick up the immense slack left in the wake of his injury.

I remember being at the game where he was injured. On TV, they broke away for commercials for a while and people started texting me to find out what was happening. Even though it was clear he couldn't move his legs, I kept telling everyone he'd probably be fine once his body calmed down and the inflammation reduced. Damn it, I wish I was right. Ryan was on the path to Troy's level of dominance. Hope he finds another direction to dominate!
