@talkoftheyoc5 жыл бұрын
Another thing to consider is yes he may get 2-4%, but in order the sale that much. You have other salesman closing deals. I’m Assuming Ryan is the broker at this point. When his agents close a deal at 2%, his agent most likely makes 70% of that 2% commission and they should. Ryan will get around a 30% split of the 2% as the broker. So unless he is single handily closing those deals. He will need to sell more like $200M a month as a broker to make that kind of money. That’s how it really works.

Would love to see a video based on your first few years in NY and the struggles you had to overcome. I feel like a lot of successful people speak about the struggles they are going through now but rarely speak about that 2-5 year period where every single day was a struggle and they felt like giving up. Maybe include your first few apartments that you lived in when you first moved, etc. I'm moving to NYC in 2 weeks and will be in a sales role so this would be a super helpful video not just for me but others as well I believe

I’m amazed at your speech skills.. how you manage to motivate me without sounding like a lame KZbin coach... I’m still trying to figure out though... seeking in my life the opportunities I can explore so I’m out of being up against the wall. Don’t get me wrong, I get your point: when you’re in discomfort you trigger your survival mode and there’s no better drive than that. However.. being too up against the wall, or being there because it was an imposition from life is not healthy. I’ve never lived any other way... I alone take care of my disabled mom while trying to have a successful career and pay the bills... let me tell you, it gets terribly exhausting hustling everyday. It triggers anxiety, leads to depression... I want a way out and am committed to doing the work because life should be more than just surviving.

Keep these inspirational videos coming and thanks again for your honesty!

Great comment! You're right. Something about not being able to get tough and discipline our children anymore. So now they cannot stand up to bullies without shooting up the whole school. We never had one school get shot up by a lone student gunman back in my youth. Kids also don't understand delayed gratification, for the very same reason: Piss poor parenting. Working for what you want, even if it takes years, is just not something this new generation is willing to accept and do, thus the skyrocketing crime rate, suicide rate, and increase in school shootings. Little kids call CPS on their parents (using their own cell phones), if given a time-out that they disagree with getting. You can forget assigning them evening chores. They'll look at you like you went crazy and go back to playing PS2/Xbox.
