Tom, lovely to see my Dad Willie O'Sullivan there at the end of the clip. Dad will be 83 next week and although age is now taking a toll he is still very much with us and I showed him the clip and he remembered Ray. I wonder have you any more videos where dad appears? Either way lovely for us to have as a memory and great to look back on those glory days. Thanks for uploading. Gary.

Worked with Wille in the traffic and as a driver as well. Met him at the Christmas Pensioners party before Covid 19 hit. A great guy give my regards to him.

Never heard of Ray in my time Tom. I was around the station in Mallow from around 1970 on. All the Mallow drivers (6) knew the cheeky Barry lad looking for lifts every which way. My go to Dublin driver was 'Timber' Cummins. Dublin - Cork - Dublin. Come up & keep me company. Amazing stories if I could tell you.

Great to see and hear an 071 class at speed. The track condition seemed very poor in those days.

I think that's a 181 class - they were bouncy on any track! The track was actually quite good....

Seems very uncomfortable for the driver, having to keep his arm outstretched like that on the brake lever.
