Replaced our Dyson and Samsung with this and its been much better. Filters capture a lot more and don't recirculate it out like the other two, and it picks up much more pet hair out of the carpet than the other two. Would recommend.

Bought. Same batteries as yard tools. Works well. Recommended.

I like how the ends are tapered like an attachment end unlike my Dyson. And the best thing is that it can stand on its own…lol! I bought my Dyon on sale and before Ryobi came out with this model. It was cheaper when on sale but then I added a quality Milwaukee battery adapter so that now makes it more expensive. When this Dyson dies, this will be the next one I get! With the new Edge batteries this thing will rock even better! Let us know how that turns out!

I have an older model, I love it. I can only imagine how good this one is.

Okay but besides the dock, how does it fair against the previous model?

Way, way better. I gave away the old model and didn't keep it as a backup because the new one is so much better.

Nice. I love these testing videos on every day home use items lol. My PBLSV717 First gen HP dual roller is still going strong and i use it multiple time a week. I was aware of the wheel weakness tho so i have made sure to not abuse the wheels. I'll eventually get this if the original HP dies on me.

I know with my brushed version the PCL720 has like only 0.6 liter canister which is next to nothing. I have filled that tank like yourself there Brant. I have that filled to the brim with normal dust and cat hair in it. I think the main floor where my mother lives in I go through 1.5 tankes full. And gone through 1 battery and a bit on another. ANd just love the stick vac.

I have a question. Does the one that comes without the battery come with wall docking or no?

For hardwood floors, are you supposed to deactivate the roller?

Does Ryobi do package deals for these around Christmas? I know they have some Ryobi days around Father's Day. I am hoping that they go on sale for Christmas. I thought I read somewhere where people were getting Ryobi stick vacs during Ryobi days in the past for $200 with 3 batteries, one being a 6amh battery. Some of the issues I have read about are the rubber sweeper strips fall apart on the back roller. Suction is noticeably less than Dyson. The cannisters is not sealed very well and allows dust to fly out. Not sure if these are on this model or another. I don't have one yet. I am also confused on the different models they have on the website. I wish they gave them clear model numbers like Dyson...ex: Ryobi StickVac 1, Ryobi SV 2 Another thing to note is the ability of the battery to charge while still in the tool. This is something the next generation Ryobi battery cooler needs to incorporate. Being able to leave batteries on tools and just dock them seems like a new thing for Ryobi.

Filter clogs with dust super fast on these, and then it doesn’t pick up well. It only sells because of the convenience of the standardized battery. Otherwise just get a Dyson

The issue with dyson is typically the price point for a lot of people, any cyclone vacuum would be fine. I personally went with the Samsung jet boutique due to the self empty. I prefer vacuum bags because allergies are incredibly bad so filtration is a huge concern, and emptying dyson would kick more dust back out sadly.
