RZR PRO XP - S&B Particle Separator Install

Quick unboxing & installation of the S&B Particle Separator.
Installation was relatively easy. I would estimate 2-3 hours if uninterrupted. I provided myself 6 hours to complete the installation although that is overkill for most. Our install took a bit longer as I had additional accessories installed outside of a stock machine that I had to work around.
This video is for overview & installation on my install and the issues that we ran into and tips recommended.
It is a great addition to my current setup and cant wait to get out and test it this summer in the dirt.

Very helpful video. Getting ready to install a pile of parts on our Pro XP4. S&B filter, subwoofer, Razorback gauge, winch, rock sliders,front /rear bumpers, Shock Therapy springs, windshield, roof and spare tire carrier. Now I definitely know what is going in first! The S&B filter. Well, first thing is an upgraded fuse box to break out the mess attached to the bus bar. Thanks for the tips!

I notice you made this vid back in Feb and have the original gasket. Have you had leaking issues and has S&B sent out the upgraded parts to you. If not, maybe you should contact them. Thanks for the vid. Very in depth and informational.

@@luvs2race370 Separator is well worth it. New dual rate suspension I did first. Both are excellent upgrades

@@DinkGear Yes. Shock Therapy will be my first upgrade. I think it's interesting ppl will spend thousands on upgrades, then you see the junk collapsed factory springs on the buggy and think "all the $ you spent on this and you're still running those junk springs?" Lol! To each their own though. Thanks for the input and enjoy. That's a bad ass ride you got.

Nice video, thanks. Is there a prefilter or frog skin like material to keep mud and debris from being sucked into the particle separator? Have you had to clean it out yet, and what was that like? I'm considering upgrading my Dynamics springs to the Shock Therapy springs. What was your experience with the upgrade, and is it worth it?

No, there is no pre filter... I took it apart to check after first ride, there was only dust in the intake portion. Not to hard either... perhaps 2 hrs as I had to take mudbusters off as well. Found a way to speed it up next time by removing the quarter panel with fenders attached to get to the S&B. Shock Therapy are a game changer... they are amazing.

Looks like the dust was my fault as well... there was a portion of the S&B filter that wasnt sealed properly

@@DinkGear good to know. Were you hitting any mud or puddles? I'm not big on mudding, but I won't stray from a muddy trails or large puddles. I'm just worried that the separator will suck in the muddy water and I'll have another thing to clean after riding

No worries about it sucking anything up into it. It also has a duckbill drain for water. That day, we hit large water puddles, clay and loads of dust

Is the sub woofer worth the money? I have the stage 3 and I'm considering adding the sub.

Are those the Kemimoto door bags? how do you like them?

No... those are the Polaris door bags. I have had no issues with them at all. Work great.
