Been doing bouncing for the past 7 years. Totally agree. Vast majority of bouncers do not go out looking for trouble. We'd rather avoid it. I always say a prayer and get a little anxious before leaving out.

Your message about wanting to prepare us for the streets, and avoiding as much damage and horror as possible, comes thru loud and clear. I hope I never have to fight anything more than a heavy bag. All those things that happened to you really sound horrible, and why would we want to go thru that, or even put somebody else thru all that pain? Compassion is such a lost art these days. I've always supported you, brother Sayf, and am grateful for all the true combat skills you've helped me with. You are a truly honorable man, and just like Jason, a class act.

Thanks for the video Sayf and I agree 100% I was in a situation in the Mall, guy bumped into me he turn around walked towards me "what's your f*** problem" I turned side on and smiled. Raised my open hand and said "I am so sorry for bumping into you, my bag" the man's straightened up a few inches taller. He wanted a confrontation now he had no excuse I moved back smiling watching him and walked away quickly, I know how really nasty a fight can get so avoidance is always better than the aftermath.

great video sir. real as it gets. self defense is done when needed, but one should always avoid as much as possible. you can never be sure if the person will be fair or on the result. side note: do you have a video on defending yourself against a volume puncher in a street fight ? thank you

I had to get blood clots smoothed out from taking punches on the arms. I love sparring, but hate the streets. if I can avoid any confrontation with someone I do, but most people now are not like that.

the streets do not love you. I had a few street fights as a young man and street fights are never fair and are extremely dangerous. being from thee streets font make you tough. when I joined the Corps I thought I was tough bc i was from the "streets" and a 5'6 mcmap instructor wrapped me up and choked me out. this video was pure truth.

I got a gun pulled on me as an auto mechanic helper. And I managed to the get gun out of his hands and we continued to fight. after the fight, I had to get blood clots smoothned out of my arms and hands. Street fighting SUCKS no matter if you win or lose. I have too much respect for the Irish travelers who voluntarily ( don't know why) do what they do. I will stick to the gym for sparring and hopefully (if someone has a problem with me) convince them to at least put on gloves.
