I'm going to get 1 of these but I would recommend you try the Canik Rival polymer version. A lil cheaper than this but an incredible shooter.

Just recently found your channel from searching for reviews from the p365. I was planning on getting one again but was looking at this exact S&W today thinking I should look for some input. Thanks for sharing some great content. I hope your wife recovered (looks like I’m a month out from this date) and definitely subscribing! Can you do a follow video on this one please? Even just a short to see how it is fairing..

@@bobkenton3490 thanks for the sub man. I really appreciate that about my wife too. She is doing a lot better. I will see what I can do on the follow up. It’s never had an issue but I will say knowing what I know of 9mm vs 380 I would pick 9mm all day over 380. The sig 365 is an excellent pistol.

That is one bada$$ gun,S&W is knocking it out the park lately with all there new guns.I just bought a Shield Plus this year,and an M&P 2.0 4.25inch.I love both them guns,but I will say I am kinda bummed out they just dropped them guns when I just got two this year.I really want more of a full sized 5inch barrel pistol for my next gun,it be cool to see this style done in a 5inch.

@@metsnyc7797 man I’ll be honest I really thought about going with the shield plus carry comp but then realized it was a 4”. I had the original performance center shield plus 4” and could t find a good quality holster at the time. Then I started wondering is it a 4” or a 4.2” like this model because if so holster selection would be zero at this point, so I went with this one and couldn’t be happier. I’m definitely not saying on down the road the shield carry comp won’t be in my collection but not for now.

@@metsnyc7797 yes sir. Any m&p 2.0 for 4.25” or larger works. The one I went with was the Tulster profile plus for 4-4.25” m&p 2.0 on Amazon. Fits like a glove and has very good metal belt clips.

my sig 365 x macro fell apart while shooting it lol got a 43x the next day lol mag relase fell apart while shooting. This new metal series.. I'm definitely getting one of each series they dropped

@@jaredlange yah that sounds like a bad run. My 365 held up but started rusting due to sweat (which should not happen with the finishes that are available) and then after about 2500 rounds started jamming. And that was on three different models. Glock used to build great pistols but I think since the old man passed they are relying on the name in my opinion. You can look at this smith and just see the quality. I have this one and have been putting my bodyguard 2.0 through its paces for the last few weeks before I do a full review on it. I wanted to check everything out first. I may do a sit down with it this weekend and have a video up late weekend. I’ve got 800 through it so far. I was going to run 500 but I got happy. 😂

What's the trigger pull weight like?

@@tsomers01 it started out about 4lbs. It’s settled right at 3.5 now. It’s a very good trigger. Very minimal overtravel, Which is key to a clean shot.

love mine too... got the 2.0 5" ported years ago and even with an apex trigger and dot on that... they really outdid themselves with this one. I'm impressed and absolutely love the sight combo. Got some shooting content on my page if ya get bored, new sub here, great content and you're spot on with first gun comment lol

I’m a Vedder Holster fan myself. Just curious, what issue did you have with your Vedder to make you change holster brand?

@@jasonramsey8518 the last three I ordered I had issues with so I just gave up. I really really liked them before that. One was the sweat guard on a rmr cut for a 19. It was level at the start and sloped so bad towards the end it wasn’t even covering the slide except for a quarter inch. 2nd was sloppy fitment. A lot of movement in a Hk45c holster. 3rd was a glock 43x holster that all the hardware rusted after two months. I didn’t go through their warranty which I’m sure would have taken care of all of them but I just don’t like having to send crap back and go through stuff like that. All three got traded with the pistols at dealers when I traded them in for something else. It really sucked because I hd been using Vedder since about 2016. Back when they used the white bags. I still have all the rest of them I ordered in the past. But all three of those were ordered within about a six or seven month period. May have had some crap qc guy or something. Who knows.
