Georgia tried it at the beginning with Jasmine but when she saw that Shanina has her back as a friend and Jasmine is a confident, cool calm collected and smart she dialed it back and started with the compliments

Can anyone name who these influencers are that are doing major campaigns ? Because honestly I don’t see much of them in campaigns unless it’s like alix Earle but she’s not a model. I want to see influencers that are also models

I was waiting for someone to comment on how much the modeling/fashion has changed in the last decade or so. It is more saturated and less exclusive… which unfortunately means less intimate. There’s no distinction anymore between talent and clout :/ RIP
@chanceuxj9 ай бұрын
When Jasmine T said the influencer models often don’t know fashion history. Valid point. But ultimately does that matter? Does the consumer know/care that the model knows abt fashion? No. It’s a distinction without a difference. It’s abt looks & energy. That’s all folks care abt when they look at an ad.

knowledge always matters and makes a difference

I doubt the average consumer cares if the model is knowledgeable abt the brand or fashion history. I love it but let’s be honest and not overestimate the skill set needed for a model and who can/can’t be easily replaced.
@danniellepalmer8 ай бұрын
Love Jas but I cringed at the host's comment about how people who aren't physically what a supermodel looked like 10 years ago get more opportunities now over "real models"?! Let's not forget that the average model 10 years ago is not physically what most people look like and can help perpetuate unrealistic body standards. If she said influencers don't know how to pose, that would be a different thing but because influencers don't have a model look means they are less deserving is crazy.
@chanceuxj8 ай бұрын
@@danniellepalmeryes! It came off entitled/snobby and tone deaf. There’s a reason models got replaced and why that era of modeling will likely not return & it’s not solely because of profit margins. Love Jas as well but she and the host seemed a bit ignorant of certain factors, history and greatly overestimating of certain roles and its value to both fashion houses and consumers…
