After months of testing and playing with different designs, we have the finished part.
The LHT S2000 Phone Mount
Fits all year S2000s ( Left Hand Drive Only) and installs in minutes with basic hand tools.
This is something we've tested on our own S2000 to make sure all the popular phones fit and stay in securely.
Most phone holders on the Market we tested either don't hold the phone tight or they are massive and bulky.
We wanted a dedicated S2000 Phone Mounts for our S2000, and not we can share it with you.
We wanted something better:

I love that! Time to order one! My modifry always gave issues because it was the bigger iPhone and a tear drop style shift knob. So I was constantly giving it the Mike Tyson Combo while going through the gears

How about adding a magnetic wireless charging capability like the Lasfit products do? It mounts your phone magnetically, while charging your phone at the same time.

Looks like a great design. I’m surprised ProClip doesn’t have something in that position. The one they have to the left of the shifter looks terrible! I normally love ProClip. I run their bases in all my cars including the Integra, with a Scosche magnetic mount on each one. I have a metal plate on the back of my iPhone 11 Pro case. Works great, even on the Dragon!

Have you ever installed a double din radio in dash like in Japan model? I see a lot of “Honda” bezels and brackets on eBay.

@@maciekills we did install one years ago. I’m not a big fan of cutting dash on anything. Especially an S2000.

How well does the dash surround clip back in after thin has been installed? My modifry one, even with trimming doesn't let the dash surround fully clip back together

I like the improved mount, but I’m not keen on being limited to a bespoke phone holder. Offering a second option with the Modifry bolt pattern and your single through-hole would expand mounting options and likely generate more interest. www.youtube.com/@LHTPerformance

I use the iottie phone holder that does wireless charging, so that my phone can plug into aux/sterio of the car. It is using the Modifry mount. It does sit low, so I prefer to rotate the phone sideways to make more room. It also does rattle sometimes on daily drive, but not so much on highway drives. Is your mounting plate compatible with Iottie's Ball, and will you ever sell the mounting plate only? I have a box of phone mounts already and I prefer not to add another one.

I like the increased rigidity over the OG Modifry mount. Does the increased thickness of the plate still allow the dash surround to fit fairly flush above and below the bracket?

@@IcyDC5 it’s only .2mm thicker than the Modifry bracket. It’s wider and of course the brace makes it more rigid.

I was wondering the same. My modifry one doesn't let the dash surround fully clip back into place. Does this one let you fully resecure the dash? Seems like not if it's thicker

@ Make sure to trim the lip I showed in the video. It will let it close up right with little to no gap.

@ It’s 0.2mm thicker. The lip needs to be trimmed like shown in the video. Our is stiffer as it’s wider and has the support bracket. It will close up if you follow the video.

John, have you guys ever looked into making a bracket to mount a slim fire extinguisher? I know most track guys clamp one to their roll bars, but for those who daily the car and want that piece of mind, it would be cool if a solution existed.

$65 for an ordinary phone mount which doesn't even have magnetic charging and that's a clear ripoff of the one modifry used to sell is laughable. The mark up is insane. Do better on the price.

The initial set up, designing, parts , powder etc for the first limited batch is higher than originally planned. I hope make it less in the future with higher volume.
