Great subject, Obio. My partner and I adopted a 4 month baby girl in 2014. She changed our world. We lost some of our gay friends along the way because our priorities changed. No more clubbing and parties as we became a family unit. Now are the days of practices, games, children birthday parties, afternoons at the park, family outings, etc…. But we wouldn’t change a thing; our daughter is our world!!! We are 2 dads and a 8 year old daughter!

@@djvr423 Awesome! We live in San Diego. It has it's challenges as San Diego doesn't have a large black population. We are a black, gay family where our daughter has to navigate being a minority at a majority Hispanic school. We are thinking of moving to Texas or Florida.

Can't wait to have my own! Sobbing as I speak. I also love that I almost always leave here with more knowledge than I came in with - I learned two new things today. I also got reminded of 2 other things that I already know about myself - I love love and I love children (definitely want to be a parent and a spouse). God Bless you Mr Jones and keep creating space.

In September 2001 I was on track to having a kid with my then-boyfriend of 15 years. The woman was a friend who wanted to help. However, we didn't have the commercial tools your guest had. We had a turkey baster and that was it. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and my dream of having kids never worked out. I'm thrilled to hear his dream come true.

This was an AMAZING episode. So much information I did not know. Question tho: with the surrogate, was some type of parenting contract written up or agreed upon, between biolocal parents, like, will the child get to know their birth mom , if anything happens to the dads, does the birth mom have rights to take care of the child......just a little curious. This was another great episode. Keep creating space

My lover and I just had to tell you how luck you are. I do know about how a gay woman can have a baby through semen adoption because I have a niece who did it. She has until the child is a teenager before she must tell him who his father is.

These two men made a serious conversation lite and fun. For you to make the statement "giggling like girls". Why is it when gay men at times are enjoying a conversation and laughing and having fun. It's equated to femininity? Here are two grown ass men...having a grown ass conversation, about same sex partners having children. Every topic doesn't have to be so serious. They were not making fun of the process, having fun and laughter during the O's interview. Lighten bruh!
