S3 | EP7 COVID, Snowstorm and a Glacier. Family Snowmobile trip in the Yukon, BC

#covid #wintercamping #snowstorm #glacier #skidoo We think we have COVID! Caught in a snowstorm, on our snowmobile journey in Northenn BC and the Yukon. Join us on our Snowmobile adventure family trip, see some Insane snow! This trip we are taking our Skidoo Skandic and SKidoo Tundra into the remote backcountry, to visit an unnamed glacier on the border by Alaska.
Also we wonder if we have covid.
We are on a 5 day family snowmobile adventure trip. Leaving from our home in the remote northwestern corner of British Columbia, on the border with the Yukon and Alaska, we are on a 5 day spring break 2022 trip.
We are bringing our dog in the Scooby-mobile on this snowmobile adventure. Philippe rides a 2021 Skidoo Skandic SWT 900 ace and pulls a Brute toboggan.
Leandra rides a 2022 Skidoo Tundra LT 600 ace, and pulls a trailboggan.
Our son Justin rides a 2003 Skandic 440 lt.
Join us today at 4wdoverlandadventures for a snowmobile winter camping adventure.
This snowmobile adventure will take us from our little corner in Canada, over frozen lakes, historic trails, the White pass railroad, back to Atlin. We will be gone for 5 days and this is episode 3 of that adventure. Today we are going to the glacier.
We encounter insane amounts of snow and blizzard conditions all day.
At the end of the day we come back to camp and are exhausted and chilled. We also have a sore throat and wonder if we have covid-19. We'll get tested when we get home.
It keeps snowing hard on this Family snowmobile adventure, and continues snowing overnight. Our skidoos do a great job of towing our toboggans back to our home on the Canadian border with Alaska and the Yukon.
We test negative for covid when we come home.

Absolutely amazing trip! Scoobie had a great time as well!!! I noticed you have the adjustable windshield on your Tundra. I'm considering one for my machine for next season,what are your thoughts and fo you recommend it?

Hey Jason! Yes, I have the adjustable windshield. I like it, but mostly have it set on the high position, so would probably also have been happy with a non adjustable ultra high windshield. Though in some conditions it’s nice to have the ability to lower it.
