I should mention, I can’t speak for other locations, but at my Best Buy we haven’t been changing settings on most tvs so it’s a more realistic out of box experience. Great video!

Good stuff my guy ..I went to best buy yesterday to see the 65in S90C cuz the 77 is not out yet. They had the 77in S95C on top and the 65 S90C on bottom. Like u said the 95C looks just a little bit brighter otherwise they look identical.. picture wise ..I could care less about speakers, One connect box , I'm getting that 77 S90C for 3600 when it comes out in May I believe..well if Costco gets it lol . I already got the 85in QN85B and it's fantastic to be honest..but you already know OLED is king lol. So I got 70 more days to return lol and decide..keep up the good work and hit the like button, I'm 136 lol

One of the reasons I went for the 90c as you mentioned is fluidity. I hate how interfaces get slow over time. Getting a newer processor helps me keep it responsive for longer

I have noticed that when gaming in HDR on my S90C, reds and greens are ultra saturated. I noticed this with Spiderman 2 in particular. Like trees and grass are like insanely bright green and Mile's 10th anniversary suit default color looks mostly red despite being like a pink'ish color. I sort of like the look but not sure if that's what is expected with this TV lmao.

I can't see much difference between them on this video, except the S95B seems to have a more pinkish tint overall and the S90C looks a tiny bit brighter. I did hear that the S95B had a major downgrade after the updates, so I would personally go for the newer model just based on that. I saw a comparison between the LG G3 and S95C on Brian's channel and that was really interesting, even on camera you can see a lot of differences between them but both are super high-quality TVs.

thanks for another great video i have the s95B with service menu hacks to push 1500 nits, ive been seriously thinking about getting a 90c but after this video i dont honestly think it will be worth it. I use my s95B 99% of the time for gaming on console. I would be very very interested in seeing a service menu hacked s95B next to a new s95C

Yesterday i did at the store. Also compared s95b modded with stock s95c. They r very close tbh. For larger windows, s95c was producing more brightness.

The S90C checks so many boxes for me. Holds its brightness in game mode (I feel like few of these TVs these days do), price is perfect, punches above its weight with color and contrast, picture has a lot of pop to it…but then I hear about potential color issues, and I know how annoying stuff like that can be on other devices (like a laptop that has crappy yellows or a phone with color issues). Other than that and some potential “meh” level KZbin and streaming low bitrate stuff, it seems pretty great. Hearing about lower brightness in LG game mode kind of makes them non-starters for me at the moment.

Great content (as usual). Have you noticed any burn in with the S95b? I use it as a pc monitor, gaming, and also tv and have started to notice web browser bookmarks and the YT logo always there. Anyone have any suggestions on getting rid of that? Worst case maybe I'll use the warranty and IF they out of S95B's I get upgraded to a S95C... That native 144hz panel wit Street Fighter 6 bout to drop sounding crazy.... Any issues with the one connect box?

unless they gimp it at the software level, I would think the 77 inch s90c would be the same as the 77 S95c since they are using the same panel. The 55 and 65 S90c is supposedly mixing the s95b panel in with the newer ones. So I would wait until fall before buying one.

Do you have any advice on screen size and distance? I tried about 4 displays in the last month for my 4090 build. I think the 42 inch c3 is perfect for the size and 120hz feels smooth enough. But I picked up and am trying the s90c in a 55 inch figuring it might be too big but couldn’t shake the fact that it’s 144hz and qd oled over the reg oled 120 on the c3. It feels too big for my space but the picture quality is definitely a bump up in my opinion and definitely utilizes the new pc a bit better for most games. I got my desk setup for it it set screen to eyes at about 50 to 55 inches away and seems too big. Any further back and my space will look very awkward. Distance feels ok on games like lies of p and forza but on fps games like mw2 and destiny not so much.

Well I did it I pulled the trigger on the 55 inch LG G3 for my 13900k/4090. I almost got the 55 s95c for 144hz but i just couldn’t do it because of the issues I have heard about.

It’s ok to ask your questions. S95B is the pick over the c2. Tv speakers are better also which doesn’t make up for a soundbar but honestly that soundbar probably is the best of worth having either.

Imo I have s95b and with deal I got 2 months ago I paid literally half what s96c will cost can't justify price also mine has custom settings so pivture is incredible for hdr and sdr I'm also using nvidia shield so all my apps are on that device makes things easier paired with bose soundbar 900 it's awesome setup in my small front room

Thanks for this video, man. I have been asking this question ever since the specs on S95C and S90C started making rounds since CES in January. Have been wondering weather to get heavily discounted S95B, or wait another year and then get S95C, or go for LG C2 and just forget about it all. I decided to go with a big TV, 77'', so that rules out S95B. I was also hoping that Samsung listened to the critics and reviews, to finally improve on the mistakes of S95B (OS, Quality issues, Colour accuracy). Appreciate you working with the OS in the video, I keep hearing how bad Tizen was on S95B, but people rarely show how it looks working with the OS. I guess I'll wait for a while, I was initially thinking of creating a "Samsung ecosystem" (got the phone and tablet), but I don't know, maybe LG is worth waiting out for. The people at the store were also recommending LG. I am worried a bit on its brightness issues, sometimes it gets very dark in games or movies, almost imperceptible. I don't know if G3 is worth the extra price. Samsung is always undercutting the prices, so it has an edge there. Hopefully S95C/S90C come down in price as well. Will be a tough decision.

@@Markzy_DM I feel like I'll have to wait another year. I will not buy a TV yet, the prices are absolutely insane right now. There is another news that Samsung is finally buying panels from LG, so what kind of TV that entails, we will only see next year. I was going to wait till October-November this year anyway, to see the discounts on the TVs. I am leaning towards S95C or LG C3/C2, if the differences are really worth it. LG G3 series only works for wall mounting, something I cannot afford as of now. Best of luck, though. TVs are not done "evolving" yet, so it's hard to say when they settle down and we can buy one. Unlike smartphones, where it's plateauing a bit, TVs are still seeing new display tech every year.

Yes. But this only apply from 55”-65”. 77” S90C should have the same gen 2 QD-OLED panel as the S95C though.

@@AllAboutTKK I returned an A90K for it and I'm liking the brightness difference with the A90J. I'd say the A90J represents the best WOLED that Sony has made. It's the furthest the tech has been pushed. I will upgrade to QDOLED / MLA a few years from now when it trickles down to smaller sizes and has been developed more. It's still in its infancy where panel longevity is still a question.

Oh for sure. A90K is a baby compared to 90J, 90J was designed to fight G1, and it was better outside of gaming perks. But it is just my opinion that you went backwards. I would have settled on s95B.

Hey ttk got S90C, but last 2 days going crazy, dont know if u ever had 3 monitos/tv conected with 1 GPU. I have 2 monitors connected via display port, and third one tv via 2.1 hdmi cable, when they are all powered on everything is fine, but when i turn off my TV, second monitor turn off also, and every time i have to go into nvidia control panel to enable that monitor, what is fix for this so my second monitor dont turn off?

@@AllAboutTKK Tnx, no one knows true answer, TV and one of monitors act like CEC, cause when i turn on tv it turn on monitor and vise versa. (with tv remote i turn on and off that monitor). While main pc primary monitor stays on all time. (2 monitors are 165 hz and tv is 144, i tried setting them all to same 144hz was same)

Get these tvs calman calibrated ASAP. You will be mindblown by the quality after. The picture profile to calibrate is Movie/Movie HDR. It's the best thing i ever did and now looks so much better than a LG G3

Because I know you’re comparing 77 to 65, and I personally find it real hard to believe that Samsung made sutm that trumps the Sony, in the same size that is. Picked up a 65s95b for $1070. The 90/95c make no sense. They are marginally better for 2-3x more. Unless you like crapping money, that is.

@@AllAboutTKK How does it make sense? Make it make sense. The s90c is a rebadged s95b for double the price. They are better products…but how would you quantify it? It doesn’t matter if the set is 18 months old. Plasmas were rivaling OLEDs for years. My Panasonic Plasma from 2012 rivals my C7 and CX OLEDs. Peak vibrancy has changed marginally on the new Samsungs and is nothing that can’t be tinkered with on the S95B to get it within spitting distance. There are quite a few videos on KZbin showing this.

I disagree as I was one that was buying Plasma TVs also. But keep in mind my opinion is just my opinion. To start, S95B is simply not $1100. It is $2000 retail on sale for $1700 retail. 55” is $1700 retail on sale for $1300, sold out at all major retailers, only sold now by mom & pop retailers. So to throw out that A cost this while B cost that, the tv is well over a year old now. S90C in 77” which was not an option for S95B to compare has Gen 2 QD Panel, which is the same as all S95C. In the 55-65” range it’s a 40-60 split with it eventually being a full 100% Gen 2 panel which has been upgraded: Has a better processor that makes OS run more smoothly. Natively supports 144Hz and has better more fluid VRR. Has picture settings that are just not present for S95B. It’s just better. And when you look at the actual cost, comes out to be better when you factor in the 90c going on sale. Any person that has waited almost 18 months to buy an S95B can and should certainly wait just a couple months and buy the newer and better tv. It simply is not the same tv repackaged, and to throw the s95c in and say that is just a lie. Personally I don’t just buy TVs to buy them, I have tor a very long time be an enthusiast in this hobby bro. All the way back to CRT days I’ve been the same way I am today. But these are just my opinions, mine doesn’t hold more weight than yours but based on your comment that’s how I got to my reply. I just disagree and since the forum is on a video I created I wanted to make sure I let the people know that. The smart investment is to buy the new and wait for the sale, not buy the old because it’s cheaper because again, s95b was about 3k when I got it. And Cx was among one of the greatest tv of all time, no plasma had the resolution to even hold a candle mucless the latency, the refresh rate natively for HDMI sources, etc. again, I was there too bro. I’ve owned the best of every tv panel that just about ever existed, respectfully. Max Luv.

The S95B costs like half as much as the S90C... The S90C makes no sense right now, because if you are spending thousand+ more... why not spend a few hundred more and get the much better panel in the S95C? I'm also not sure if the S90C will drop as hard as the S95B. That was hurt badly because of the initial bad press, the bent panels etc. The S90C could still be a lot more than the S95B this time next year. Improved Tizen etc. doesn't matter at all to me.

Lol. Man you sound like every single person that is a year late looking or talking about a tv when the newer one is out. Of course it’s much cheaper, it’s also finna be discontinued. It’ll be next year when the same will be said for s90c vs whatever 2024 variant there is. That’s just how it goes. S90c won’t be this expensive. Keeping in mind it is the s95b replacement from a physical perspective, the 95c is their premium, their G model from Lg if you would. Also, a person might not feel the value in the 95c but also might not want the year old 95b, it’s a lot of logic to that. Thanks for the comment. I got time today to read and thoroughly reply.

@@AllAboutTKK yeah, that is the current pricing here in the UK, those are the correct models I have posted the 2022 LG c2 and G2, and the new 2023 s90/92c and s95c and all 77 inch size, I am just hesitent on the 2023 qdoleds as the 2022 models have burn in according to rtings, where as the woled have much less chance and the G2 offer 5 year burn in cover.

@@Mayhemz.95 Lg 5 year isn’t all the way through and through though. Personally I’ve not enough burn in concerns for s95b or a95k to make me worry about the 90c and 95c I have.

@@AllAboutTKK how is the 90c compared to the 95c and the lgs oleds for watching movies, TV, sports, pc gaming? I will be using the 77 oled to replace my 120 inch 1080p 60hz projector, I sti around 15 feet from it but can move my room around and sit 6-10 feet from the 77 oled, I will use the oled for pc gaming controller games and maybe try some mouse and keyboard for games that aren't competitive or maybe try and make a DIY couch desk or something. And then I will be using the TV for movie nights, some 1080p sports like soccer, and 1080p anime like demon slayer etc. Thanks I appreciate your replies, you helped me out a few months back getting my c2 42 to run at 3840x1600p
