I'm really late compared to the upload but I've seen that you're still answering to comments ! Your 9-3 was so quick that I had to play it again to see if it was an OG or a NG haha ! Subbed, hope there will be more saab content ;)

700 how? Sounds wild btw. What engine did you start with?
@ArturssonEngineering5 жыл бұрын
700hp is easy business! B205 saab engine and the dropped in skimmed B204 pistons and rods, 1.4mm removed from the piston top. Very ported head, ARP studs and so on.

Joel sounds like expensive business... But that’s pretty wild to pull from a B205. 👌 what turbo you running?
@ArturssonEngineering5 жыл бұрын
@@0Morey yes a lot of money went in to this car also chassi wise. I actually ran an hybrid turbo, an precision turbo 6062 combined with an 5858 and made it into an Cea 6058 bb with V-band 0.64 housing. Made 634whp/680wnm at 2.1bars of boost, 726wnm at 2.3 bars of boost but ran out of injectors at so stopped on the same 634whp but 1000rpm earlier lol

Joel Artursson wow thats some high level stuff. Im trying to mod a b207. But i only got a td04 16t with bigger intercooler and 3" all the way. Pluss 530cc injectors. Not sure if i should go above 320 hp and 450nm with stock internals.
@ArturssonEngineering5 жыл бұрын
@@0Morey on those small turbos and stock B207 internals you are fine up to 350hp, above that it is a gamble up to 400hp and should not be pushed beyond, some have made it to 400hp perfectly fine. But they run a lot larger turbo on low boost with boost after 4000rpm and other exhaust manifold so the engine can breath properly and not build as much restrictions and heat. What happens is that with small turbos you get a lot of boost pressure, backpressure and heat early in the rpm so this heat makes the cylinder sleeves expand where they have least support. Eventually cracks by the tensions caused from the expansion by heat in combination with the combustion and movement of the sleeve as it want to try and go somewhere. 350hp is max safe limit on a small restrictive turbo and stock manifold. 👌

I got one but it only goes 160 miles an hour still too fast for the nation's highways especially over here in America but I do love it so❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂❤

2.0 wossners on a 2.3?, were the h-beam rod lengths the same as the 2.3 stock rods?
@ArturssonEngineering3 жыл бұрын
Only difference in the engines is the dish in the crown of the pistons, crankshaft stroke and rod length, otherwise pistons are the same bore and size

Can I ask by the acc delete would that be the air on?

I have a quick question how much boost can the stock internals hold? I read that I have 12psi but I kinda of what to have a bit more but I don't want to find out the expenses way what that limit is
@samwild64 Жыл бұрын
Depends on the motor. The older 2 liter motors (t5 ecu, red ignition cassette) have forged pistons that can be pushed well over 500hp. The 2.3 liter can handle about 300ho before Bluetooth pistons, not sure about ng9-3.

@@samwild64no the 2.3 is basically just as strong as the 2.0. Early trionic 5 cars with the B204 (2.0) and the b234 (2.3) are the ones that can handle big power out of the box. Although they’re very inefficient at it due to having heavy internals. The later trionic 7 cars with the b205 (2.0) and the b235 (2.3) from the earlier cars generally go bang around the 310hp mark so 290 is safe. Although the b205 lpt is marginally stronger due to piston design.
