Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Sabaton. If you keep on this path you will find so much good music. Most of them are based on real war time stories, as someone said. If you feel the need for research, do check out their official Sabaton History Channel. There you will find some short stories about the event in the songs and how they come up with the song. There is also a animated video for The Red Baron as well, and there is a new video for the new release The First Soldier. A collaboration between French channel Nota Bene and Yarnhub. You carter to both my tastes tonight, Sabaton and VoicePlay. And I love BOTH Geoff and Tommy. You will be blown away and most likely cry by No Bullets Fly. All animated videos contain a song and some history around it and you often see the band members somewhere in the video.

First, they have won award for the educational content of their videos from a fairly well known source, look it up. you should watch their animated STORY videos no bullets fly Lady of the dark red baron then we have the epic official videos like Bismark (you have seen) Christmas truce Uprising Defence of Moscow to hell and back (about drug addiction and PTSD in soldiers returning from battle so heavy) live performances 40 to 1 from wacken poland Uprising (same place) en livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (it is in Swedish but there are subtitles) Alos they have a history channel here on KZbin where they talk about the history behind all their history based songs and why they made the song aswell as some of how.

Almost every single Sabaton song is about an historical military event or person. If you're not really that into such subjects, you think you won't like Sabaton...but they make the stories so interesting w their delivery! I fought so hard against liking this band...til I started taking in the actual History, and watching the band's tour vlogs...I came to "know" the guys...big personalities, all...and the music just started making sense to me! I totally get you feeling emotional...there are war-hardened veterans who just sob to every song! Great job w the reaction Kaireem! And how cool that 4k subscribers (YES! You did it!!) just learned that noble story of ultimate Girl Power!! Witches unite! Remember...you can always go to The Sabaton History Channel to learn the in-depth stories behind their songs!

Exactly! This is how I feel currently! I’m just fascinated how a bad can make history sound so interesting and addictive. They really make you want to hear more. Sabaton frequently collaborates with the Yarnhub KZbin channel for animated music videos that double as informative microdocumentaries (which is a brilliant idea, if I may be so bold). They've done videos for No Bullets Fly, the Christmas Truce, and most recently Hellfighters.

If they only lost 32 lives from 23000 sorties i call that a MASSIVE success. That survival ratio is absolutly insane and especially when u consider the planes they hade. Yes they were slower and hade better mobility but that also means u cant defend yourself in the air and all u can hope for is the enemy runs out of ammo if they ever get intercepted in the air.
