He was talking about Jaloviina as his molotov cocktail bottle. Jaloviina is Finnish cut brandy which they started to produce in 1932 after the prohibition. It is still made and its often had as a shot or mixed with something.

🇫🇮 👍 Winter War gave the Finns & the world a sniper legend. Simo Häyhä, often referred to by his nickname "The White Death", was a Finnish military sniper in World War II during the 1939-1940 Winter War against the Soviet Union. He used a Finnish-produced M/28-30 (a variant of the Mosin-Nagant rifle) and a Suomi KP/-31 submachine gun. He is believed to have killed over 500 men during the Winter War, the highest number of sniper kills in any major war so far.

Also Soldier of Three Armies. But there is so many other "non Finnish" war heroes and fights that Sabaton has made great songs out of too.

The first soviet troops sent to invade Finland and soon dealth with had also marching band equipment with them so they count celebrate at Helsinki for the swift victory. Also in the freezing cold the russians were so cold that many of them when shot froze standing immediately.

Insane what a story!!! I really need to read this a few more times. This short version is well explained, this man does a great job. Unbelievable what happened at the time, horribly under those circumstances really Bizarre. Wars are terrible, but should never forget this. This was a special piece of history... Thanks to SABATON 🤘💪 And thank you too 🦋💫🌻🌷🌹💙❤️

How cold was the winter of 1939 (time of winter war)? December 1939 was cold on the whole, the average temperature of 37·8° F.

Finland will only join nato, as long as Sweden join! If Sweden can’t join, Finland will not join nato! We stand together, we will fight and die together as we did in the Finish winter war and continuation war! Sweden and Finland are really close to each others, like brothers!

nice reaction again, thanks a lot! If its not already on the to-do list, "Soldier of 3 Armies" would be THE perfect Song following Talvisota. Edit: Oh i just realized that they showed a picture of Lauri Törni in the Video 👍

So do you set up a printing house, that sells "Hump Free Area!" signs, and t-shirts? 😁 I think there was also some hope in the Soviet government that Finns would be still at variance, because of white vs. red civil war which was harsh. But on the contrary, it united the nation together as front against invaders. Our great grand- and grandfathers set the disagreements on hold, until the invasion would be over. When the one you had unfinished business was shot beside you, it pissed off a bit... Greetings Nightwish army Finland 🤘 𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓪 𝓛𝓪𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓪
