Sadabhishegam 81st Birthday Celebrations !!

Sadabhishegam is a special event in the Vedic heritage to mark the 81 st Birthday in a person's life.This is a time of prayer, thanksgiving and family reunion .This is the celebration of the Sadabhishegam of my brother in law Shri EN Krishnamurthy and his wife Smt Vijayalakshmi.
In this video I have attempted to take you through the major events ,including the food preparation on this special day.
Indeed it is a special event where the children arrange for the celebration of their parents Sadabhishegam.

Nice to know the meaning of this ritual. In one s life journey of 80yrs he has seen 1000 full moons. Plus fifty yrs of married life. Seen his fourr generation s growing along with ageing. It is a nice tradition to remember God and thanking him alongwith family friends relatives and well-wishers and sweets and tasty food etc. I feel every religion should adopt this occasion of teaching life's different stages. Akka, two friendly comments. The idli batter was poured over plastic sheet. The traditional method is to pour it over cloth. When steamed, the plasticizers diffuse into idli albeit small amount. So, we ingest these harmful chemicals. The coffee, pay Adams are served in styrofoam cups which are not bio degradable. They should be served in Stainless steel tumblers. Please spread awareness through your channel. Thanx
