That 1500 meters in 4.11 is crazy. It woulda got her 6th at the Under20 Worlds, and she woulda been the youngest by at least three years. The future is Sadie's.

Well to be fair she’s physically developed very early and is like 5’9. How many 14 year olds do you know that are built like that? Only time will tell if she can keep this up or if the other girls will catch up.

Been following HS T&F since the mid-1950s ... you do the math!! Nice video of a young lady that has terrific future ahead of her. One can tell a lot about the parents of Sadie from this video ... Sadie appears well-grounded and able to handle the world about her as she competes. Nice job, mom & dad!

I wonder if all those high caliber meets in a short period are going to take a toll. There is a long history of super talented women middle distance runners burning out before they are 20 y o. Hope that does not happen to her. Best of luck Sadie.

Katelyn Tuohy broke the VERY LONG STANDING record in the high school outdoor mile a couple of years ago with 4:33 in 93 F heat. It will be interesting if Sadie can do it this year in California weather. Mary Cain and Katelyn Tuohy are the HS Goats. Jenna Hutchins will FAIL big time at BYU. She peaked at 16, and hasn't run in 2 years due to "injuries." All eyes on Sadie this year to be the next HS GOAT.

Nice video and great production values. I got interested in girls and collegiate XC and track when I found out about Katelyn around 2019 when she won NXN for the third time. At that moment in time you could look back at the record and see Mary Decker, Mary Cain and Tuohy as generational high school phenomena. It seems as though KT did something that opened the gates to a whole new cohort of fast girls: Natalie, Jenna, Beth Leachman, Addy Ritzenhein, Bethany Michalak, Angelina Napoleon, Jane Hedegren and Sadie are just a few names that come to mind. As an NC State commit she will have the opportunity to grow in the best program in the country. This is tremendously exciting.

Dalia made a bizarre choice in picking DUKE over NC State, Stanford. Gosh- remember CA's Claudia Lane and how she vanished after Junior year of High School. She must have graduated from Dartmouth now. Remember CA's Sarah Baxter. She totally vanished at Oregon.

When I was in high school in the 70’s the girls had no sports the only thing they could do was play in the powderpuff football game once a year some of us football players would coach them and they were spectacular first time the juniors had beaten the seniors and they beat them pretty bad there was a lot of talent in that group we laughed a lot and really got to know each other better I think us players had more fun than they did some really fearless girls

She only runs 35 miles a week with those insane times! Sounds like Bob Kennedy! She may break 4 minutes in a few years with the right coaching and no injuries!
