I believe this is why a T28 crashed of mine. Put a receiver from an AeroScout in it and didn’t adjust anything. Lesson learned. Thanks for the video.

you may have had a fighting chance if you mounted the receiver EXACTLY as it is mounted in the aeroscout. if you had the pins faced the wrong way or ?? then the as3x and safe would work in the wrong direction

Great demo! I was having trouble with the excessive movement or constant vibrations in my flight surfaces with the AR630 receiver. Your video helped me resolve it. Now maybe I can maiden my new Extreme 300. Thanks! Jim

Hi Sean! I must disagree when, at 8:43, you start to say that fast airplanes, like jets, need high gains and slow airplanes need low gains. It is the opposite: In fast airplanes the wind speed (of the gust) is small compared to the speed of the plane, and therefore only small deflections of the controls surfaces are needed (low gain), while in slow airplanes you need big deflections in order to achieve the desired corrections. This is related to the "Gain Sensitivity" field (you have it at 4x, I guess for demonstration purposes). The recommendation is: "Agile aircraft with extreme control surface deflections or high speed aircraft should use 1X. Moderate sport airplanes should use 2X. Slow and inherently stable aircraft with mild performance should use 4X.". The higher the "Gain Sensitivity", the higher the gain.

You should show the setup process....where you have to fly and trim it out and then let it fly untouched for 3 seconds to show the learning process and then how to fully setup safe on a new ar630 or ar631 and the whole process with forward programming from new to complete and how to set it all up...I'm having an issue so I don't activate safe

Instead of leaving the gain multiplier at 4X and turning the gain down to 13, I would have turned the multiplier down to X1 and left the gain set to 30 or 40. I avoid really small or large values. On my EDF’s, I set the gains to 30, 40, and 50 percent for roll, pitch, and yaw. Because they’re faster, they need less gain. Slower planes need more gain.

Also...I have a brand new timber x not the night timber but the reg one and it comes with the 50 amp.....I don't have battery telemetry...do I need to put the avian 60 amp on it to have battery telemetry? Also why does the night timber come with the 60 and the timberx come with a 50 does it need that extra 10 amps

Mine are at 45 and 50 for gains and they barely move
