I've run something similar to this and you really nailed the use case for it in this video. I've run it through Wincraps a bunch and over thousands of rolls it falls behind a full-odds strategy pretty heavily, but if you're looking for a short-term thing to run for comps, or just be able to hang around a table for a long time and soak up free drinks while still having decent action, this is a nice, low pressure strategy. Also very good for times when you have to play a little short-stacked -- weekend in Vegas on the Strip, no tables available under $25 minimum and I don't have the bankroll to play Molly with full odds at that level, working a little hedge strategy like this is a good time.

Boarded Navigator of the Seas today for a short 3 night sailing. Testing out the strategy. Session 1: I played at the $50 level and earned 173 points in 1 hour and 2 minutes. After an hour I was down $50 or 1 Unit. (Not including tips, don’t include that in my wins/loss. Session 2: I played at the $100 level for only 18 minutes and went on a good streak, went up $1000 or 10 units and walked away. I managed to earn 97 points in 17 minutes as well. This is definitely not a normal or expected result but I do look forward to testing this strategy more this weekend!

Thx Jeremy for rolling this Wizard of Odds strategy out. Helpful and useful to me for sure. Here’s why: First I’m Always looking for low vol no matter what. My logic is that all strategies go up and down. So this one is great for getting off after your in the win column. Such as when you rolled 5 or 6 sevens in a row. I’d have quit there and been satisfied with the profit. And since my win goal with low vol strategy is only 10 to 20 percent, I’d play this to try to win a little, build a bankroll and increase my comps. Yep a winner strategy for a guy like me all around. And I can cope and deal with small losses when they happen. Because they WILL happen too!

My method is very safe: #1) start off at a $5 table. Ellis Island has one. Buy in $200. #2) you'll be playing the dark side. #3) $5 Don't pass for the come out; then lay bet $30 for a "No" 6 or 8 to defend against a 7. #4) once a point is established, yank the lay bet, then add minimum lay odds. That's it. It's a long grind, especially "no" 6 or 8 for every come out, then bringing it down after a point is established. As your bank increases lay more odds and/or increase your "no" 6/8 lay. After winning $300, which may take several hours, the player can migrate to a $25 table on the strip. Use the above bet plan only using larger bets. Good luck... All the tight players (El Cortez, Plaza, Ellis Island, Jokers Wild) play this way. Caveat: do not start at a $25 table; start at a $5 table. Be patient. Play tight.

@@gianlucavannutelli7220his bet sizing of lay $30 6 or 8 was too high. If you had a $5 DP you would only need to lay the 6 or 8 for $7. With this strategy I would probably start with $10 DP with $7/7 lay 6 & 8

I play something similar to this but on bubble craps. The pace is way way way faster and you can accumulate a couple hundred dollars in like an hour rather then a few. The only caveat here is you only get 2:1 on your odds bet. I generally play the don't and back up my bet by hopping the seven combinations and play the 11 in the horn on the come out. You don't make as much once a number is established but you don't take a whack right away if the table gets hot and 7s and 11 are popping like the beginning of this video. Sometimes I don't even do it after I've been grinding for a while. I gotta really cold take last night and turned $100 into $750 in a few hours. Now they're we're a few players who got hot and were making a lot of rolls with no 7s coming later on so all you do is check the scene and go with your gut but because I play the dark side, I just pull all my bets when I see that happening. Has 1 guy in so those hours hit 4 points in a row and could have been devastating but I played reserved. I also had made so much I started gambling a little and placing the 6-8 and made some money that way too

I'm sorry, you're wrong. The safest betting strategy in craps is to not bet at all. Granted you won't get rated very much, if at all, but you're guaranteed to leave the casino with all the gambling money you walked in with, so long as you don't gamble anywhere else, either. Please accept this free advice from an army of poor former casino dealers like myself who learned this strategy the hard way.
