August 25, 2021… I felt prompted to hear this beautiful talk again. 11 years have passed, and how applicable are his words at this very moment. I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that keeps me full of hope and love. All is well. God truly does provide safety for the soul. I loved how Elder Holland ended… “Remember this declaration by Jesus, Himself, “Whoso treasureth up my word shall NOT be deceived and in the last days, neither your heart nor your faith will fail you.”” Many hearts are failing, don’t let yours falter. We can overcome all, with the help of our Savior through the Book of Mormon. ♥️

I also want to say "Amen, and Amen" to Elder Holland's witness, again, in Oct of '24!! The opponents of the Book of Mormon, and of our Church, have been given proper notice and a warning! We are still "the youth of Zion" regardless of our temporal age!! Let us not falter! Let us read and be guided by the Holy Spirit of God to understand and keep to the strait (yes, strait, or difficult and challenging, but it is also straight) and narrow path!

This talk is an answer to my prayers. I've been away from studying the book of mormon for a while. During those times, I started to experience a lot of heart pain because of intrusive thoughts that I deal with on a daily basis. I'm starting to go back to studying the word of god, even though it's hard. But it's either that, or I end up having my heart fail. I dont want that. For the sake of my testimony and for righteousness sake. Thank you Elder Holland.

If this means anything, I also struggle with intrusive thoughts every single day. It used to give me extreme anxiety and panic attacks. I study the Book of Mormon everyday and it has helped me a lot and I know how you feel about having intrusive thoughts. Thankfully it has gotten a lot better, and it can for you too.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I need to feast on the Book of Mormon more. I believe it’s true, and it’s extremely difficult for me to say otherwise, not because it would challenge my belief, but because of what the book contains and how it would’ve come forth if it wasn’t divinely provided.

As I listen to this talk, It has given me assurance of the power of god through the book of Mormon. I have started reading the book of Mormon again after 3 years, and so far I have learned so much about Jesus Christ and the Power god has given us to follow up. @@Dustin_McNab From a writers perspective, it is impossible to write any work especially alone. Without imparting bias. The book of Mormon is written so clearly by someone other than Joseph and with a will towards good that could no be written by evil. This is why.

I mean, if you have such doubts. Just go ahead and replicate it... You'll find out why a any man wouldnt be able to write it alone real fast. The other thing is especially now it's kinda hard to account for all the geographic and historical accuracies that would have had to have been pure luck or divine intervention to have been in that book in the year it was published.
