Another great installment of your life and love! Maya; you may not have been feeling 100%, but your singing as you played made my day. What a wonderful voice! And in spite of you not feeling pretty because of your cold, rest assured that you are effortlessly beautiful. I love the relationship you two share. You’re an inspiration to young couples everywhere!

Beautiful, as always. Love seeing the bond you guys have for each other. I can see you guys years from now, with a ocean side bed and breakfast for sea going travelers. Dinni doing repairs on their boats and Maya being the gracious hostess. Your 5 or 6 children running about being precocious and playful as the travelers spend evenings with wine, cheese, and music. I would book a room there!!

Make a 'Chain Jack'. It's just a 2" by three or four foot pole with a rubber foot tacked on and a double claw chain hook about 12 to 18" from the bottom. Brace it on the winch, lean it forward and hook it on the chain, then pull and repeat. The leverage will save your back and hands, while pulling all but the most badly snagged anchors free...

Absolutely delightful! It's a joy to witness two lovely people having "the time of their lives". Maya, your violin playing is great - are you able to play any traditional Irish folk music? It would be super if you could.

Is it me? Or did the ride thru the swells accentuate the beauty of "Magic Carpet"? It seemed to emphasize the her beautiful wood and sleek lines.

Hi there. In case you are sailing the South Western coast of Sardinia, do visit Cala Domestica, possibly the nicest bay on the island. I have been 13 years on Sardinia with my previous boat and have seen most nice places there. If you need additional info on Sardinia, just let me know. Best regards. Silvano

You just tell such a good story every time. We hang on to every word. Can you tell us about your violin? We are not musical experts but know what we like and its generally classical or classical based , live or folk/real music. Your violin comes across as more melodious, slightly deeper tones like a viola? Like we said we are not experts so it would be nice to know. Thanks for a smashing video and real entertainment! Ant, Cid and the pooch crew. xx
@SailingMagicCarpet4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for all your support and comments Ant and Cid! Although we don't reply to all of them, we still read them all. I play a regular violin like most classical and folk players. It probably just has to do with how it's recorded. Often the "treble" or higher frequencies are emphasized by sound engineers for violin. I prefer the lower frequencies so I usually "boost the bass" a bit in post production. -Maya

Such a pretty boat and the right size too . You can afford to sail something like that , while it is still big enough for two .
@faircompetition12034 жыл бұрын
@Nigel Tufnel Yep , except it doubles the cost of all the blocks and fittings and sails , and adds a foot to draft limiting where they can go and they might end up working instead of sailing to pay for it all .
