When Roberta and Duca first introduced you to us, I wondered if you two had the skill set and detemination needed to tackle a project like Yaba'. Now, a few years later, here you are sailing your beautiful restored boat along the coast in the sunshine and making repairs on your own. I am so impressed with you both, but especially MP's electrical skills! Kudos to MP's dad - a great teacher. May Yaba' and her crew always have fair weather and safe travels. Merry Christmas!

@richardrichard50812 сағат бұрын
If you do not intend to go anywhere and spend your life at anchor, then as MP says it is "on all the time" LOL🤣🤣🤣However if you drag your anchor then possibly NUC lights?🤣🤣
@arwenevenstar984319 сағат бұрын
Glad you have made progress repairing the mast cap and stays. In regards to the automatic anchor light, I'd change it to have 3 settings: off-always; automatic; on-always. Then have a 3 position switch in the cockpit. If something goes wrong with your automatic sensor, you have no way of over-coming it's fault. Plus, I'd have the light detector on the aft roof / deck head. That would make it easier to maintain, (and wire).

@delukxy22 сағат бұрын
The connection up there could then have been much better sealed against corrosion. Stainless steel tie wraps to secure the wire ASAP. Plastic ones don't last long even if they say they are UV resistant. Christmas tree on top of the mast?
@michaelcharters572719 сағат бұрын
@@delukxy Good observation and experience shared. Photocell at Helm controls. The cable up the mast will clatter and bang against the mast in heavy wind. In the Merchant Navy, we had an emergency anchor light that could be hoisted up the mast if the main one failed. Love your Videos. Constructive Criticism, No Malice Honestly
