Simplified video format works fine for me. Makes for a much more natural account of your experiences traveling with the boat than the over-glossed fantasy lifestyle videos so many other sailing and travel channels try for. Your commentary is also welcome. You’re pretty natural with speaking on camera and the result makes for a genuine and relaxing video. Good to see you back.

Was pleased to see your video pop up on my feed. I see your Zora coin randomly as our cat seems to like playing with it…🤷♂️ Congratulations to you and Niamh on your Zora evolution (Nice mast!) and being engaged! Thanks for the update . Don’t care about extra editing if you don’t. It’s the content your followers are interested in. Fair winds Rhyse!

Thanks Rhys enjoyed the update. Happy to get a real update like this video every couple of months, appreciate your crusing on a budget AND you want to enjoy it and not feel a slave to the camera. KZbin shorts might suit you better now, H i am now at xxxxx post /video, would keep me happy. Great to see your progress, after all that hard work. Enjoy the voyage, very jealous . Enjoy 👍👏⛵🏴

Your effort isn't wasted! The commentary on how you're approaching things is really helpful for those of us who are still quite new to sailing. Just as helpful as the build out was!

Great to see you back. You look a lot more relaxed. I agree with everyone below, the casual format works for me. If you aren't trying to make a living of YT then keep things simple, work at your own pace and share when you feel like it. Zora looks good and handles pretty well from what you could see on video. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding to Niamh. She is definitely a keeper. Take care both of you and have fun sailing.

Was missing the sailing adventure so good to see you back, my other sailing channels (Acorn to Arabella, Sampson Boat Co and The Duracell Project) have yet to get on the water so nice to see some on the water stuff. Short clip format is fine and no music is preferred....just the sound and sight of the sea 👍

Thanks for the video I noticed you use a thin line from the back stay to support the solar panel on the pushpit. Does the shading of the line on the panel cause any problems?
@SailingYachtZora2 жыл бұрын
No problem so far mate, it gives me the chance to adjust the panels to the sun so I can get a pretty consistent output with some effort every hour or 2

Every so often is just fine - make it work for you, it's your life. Being able to follow what you have achieved and what you do from time to time has been great and if you see it being possible to post in future would be nice, but life is for living not for producing videos that you do not feel like doing. I wish you fair winds and following seas and hope to see an update if and when you feel like it :-)

There are so many over produced, story telling channels out there. A pain for the producers to make every week and not that great to watch. This format is great. Just make a video when you have something to say and keep it real. Forget about music, natural audio with out talking is so much more pleasant. You could do some "slow TV" episodes too. Not much bother to make, a pleasure to have playing in the background and a lot of minutes view time. Just a better mic would be a good idea.
@SailingYachtZora2 жыл бұрын
I think if I figured out how to use the mic properly it should be ok 😂
