After years of dealing with "SMELL PROOF HEAD HOSE" that only lasted for a short time, I finally used 1.5" PVC that is smell proof and lasts forever. It will take some heating with a heat gun to bend some angles, and using manufactured different fittings to get it installed with a short piece of hose on the ends. Another suggestion is to spray the hose before installing, with several coats of clear coat paint.

5:44 That's the most subdued I've seen Vera, I guess the carnival was tiring, despite having ear muffs. The very loud noise. although by 9:11 she had the wherewithal to give mum a helping hand over the edge of the dinghy! Lovely you have sailing buddies in Star. Are you planning on installing a watermaker, perhaps high output. Good you meet with Sailing with Thomas on his birthday. He has decent videos.

Johan. I found it ironic that you were engaged in the replacement of the black water/toilet hoses.....a smelly and necessary boat project. I just finished the installation of over 60 linear feet of 1.5 inch diameter sanitation hose (and thru some voids I have never seen on my boat). Ready to get back sailing, but still waiting on over 30 specialized hose clamps. Think I will exercise some common sense and patience...and just wait on the clamps....it would be less smelly on the boat that way. Anyway, superb episode as usual. Best regards

It was nice watching the same Carnival that we went to, on your channel. We marched in it, so didn’t see as much as you did,but felt the same joy you did…What a fun time it was! It was nice to meet you in person too even if ever so briefly :) Keep having fun and exploring. If you get to Buccament Bay in St Vincent…go in the bat cave there with snorkels..a grand beautiful adventure… but lock up at night…good people there…but two bad ones.

We were at carnival in Trinidad. And at the end of 5 days of dancing in the street we took the dingy 1 mile to the ocean and turned off The engine and sat in the glassy peacefulness as the sun was rising a much needed contrast to our party week then it was off to Tobago to sleep a few days At Englishman bay.

I remember snorkeling with my folks once in Martinique and we swam into little gorge and found bats in a cave." Friend, "Uh, when was this?" Vera, "Umm, I was two I think. No, maybe three."
