I’m an old woman but remember “tubing the salt” 45 yrs ago. It was a blast, use lots of sunscreen. It’s hot but the water is cold. Oh the memories!!! 😂💕

@@SomeGuyOutside Ha! That's funny. But when it's 100 degrees outside, that cold water is great once you become acclimated to it. I forgot how you had to lift your butt up or risk getting it badly scraped by the rocks. One time when we went, a group of people, about 6-8 in all even had a large boom box connected to HUGE speakers playing their music as they went down the river. Hilarious. Almost everyone had coolers of beer. Geeze, I wish I could do that again. But, I live in Ohio now...I couldn't do it now if I wanted to. Physically unable. So do it while you're young and healthy. Arizona is a beautiful place to live. I remember jogging 3 miles a night through the desert in Tucson, we used tp go at dusk. How stupid we were, that's when the rattle snakes start coming out. Dumb. dumb. dumb. I should have received a Darwin award just for doing that. LOL Thanks for your comment, Some Guy!

I had one of the first lifted trucks that parked on the beach by bluepoint bridge before cops shut down vehicles from wheeling in the water. They think they are having fun.

Ive got alot of friends and family that call it home and while I appreciate it, I could not live in that kinda heat permanently.

So much fun watching your video. We may be driving in from Henderson, NV. What hotels would you suggest that are close by Salt River??

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I stay with friends/family in the area as I’m from the PNW so sadly I can’t honestly recommend any hotels. I hope you have a great trip!!

Sorry for missing your response but the salt river tubing was a great experience on my end. Lots of sunscreen and water to drink is all I can recommend it’s hard not to have a good time when you’re out there!!
