The DPF pressure sensor almost certainly had failed and caused the DPF to clog up. A bad MAP sensor also could do it on some cars; the bad MAP causes a turbo overboost which will prevent the DPF from regenerating on some cars (especially JLR vehicles.) One thing: you don't need somebody to clean the DPF and you certainly don't need to remove it from the car to clean it. Buy 5 liters of Wynns Off Car DPF cleaner and put it in a sprayer (I use a garden sprayer.) Spray it (using a thin hose) into the inlet hose to the DPF pressure sensor, and let it sit for an hour. Then put the sensor hose back on and start the car. The exhaust pressure will blow the cleaner out the tailpipe and you've just saved yourself hundreds of Pounds. A guy has a great channel (Orileys Mobile Mechanics) has a great channel where he does this all the time, and I've done it on my Range Rover.

I just bought a business + 2015 traffic 90000 miles full service history, all the MOT passed with no advisories, 2 owners, oyster Grey, which is by far the best colour on any van, front parking and reversing sensors, sat nav Renault 7-inch touch screen which somebody has upgraded, they also put on their 17 inch the same as the sport, and I paid £2800, I got a 17 plate sat nav Sport, that doesn't even have front bumper sensors, this now is 4 vans we have on the road, this was cheap because it was owned by a tarmac guy, he also told me there was a problem with the turbo, so after 1-day cleaning all the tarmac off with diesel, looks like new again, inside the cab the tarmac was everywhere all came off with that spray (pink stuff) and as far as the turbo goes it was a small vacuum pipe that came off,

Great Video muckas. A deer decided to FUBAR my Citroen C5 just got a years ticket on it. Now got a 06 Astra going to give it a good clean tomorrow. The lad is a mechanic and he wanted more than £500 but bless him wife knows his sister so he let us have it for £500 cause he knew we was struggling for money.
