Great job lads. For what it is worth, I think you should decouple the gas tank from the chassis via rubber or neoprene blocks given that Aluminium and steel expand at different rates.

As far as I know they're the innovators when it comes to a lot of products like the the front drop member, hood hinges etc and getting the C10s to lay frame. And in my experience, their customer service is great. Great job on the project as well as everything else I've watched y'all do. I've only been a subscriber since the Tesla swapped C10. But you guys do great work and put out great videos and entertainment.

The channel is great. I do wonder the cost of the Porterbuilt parts plus the labor vs a full chassis from a place like Acme Chassis. How many hours of labor would you save starting out with a full chassis ? How would the total cost compare between the two set ups ?

Full chassis is a little more expensive, but definitely adds more value in my opinion. I know lead time of a chassis is long so sometimes a front and rear drop member are the quickest way to get a built done.

I would be concerned that when that 1k horse power busts loose that the frame flex would not play well with that solid mount alum. gas tank . Maybe some over sized holes with rubber bushings on top and bottom ? But what do I know it might be a tailor queen .

500+ hp. I'd box the frame some more. More weight but when that 500+ hp gets old and ya add more hp you'll want that reinforced chassis.
